Are you deaf? He did not do a pick me dance. He gave her a choice and to decide by the next day. She made her choice and he said fine. Not once did he ever beg her to choose him or to stay. You can't force someone to love you. They have history so he gave her that one chance to make sure this is what she wants. This guy is not a doormat.

They're still young. I am still currently serving in the army and have been doing this since 03. Now I originally was gonna do 8 years, then my daughter was born on my 8 years. So I stayed in. I was gonna do 2 to 3 more 6 my son was born 14 months after my daughter. So I push. Expecting to make a better life for them.

Single mom there made one mistake OP should've checked her for immediately. If I'm going to be responsible for you and your kid from another dude, don't tell me to stay out of anything. If I say don't worry about your exs $, that's what it is. If you can't abide that, you and your ex can figure it out without me in the pic. That's the main problem with single moms in a nutshell. This may be a story of a sort we’ve heard before, but I experienced a little bit of it in real life. In college I had a very sweet girlfriend who was cute but a little overweight and low self-esteem. She got made fun of by the hot girls, and I think that was a big cause of the self-esteem issue. I am tall and good-looking, and was well above her league. But we did well together for a long time. Shortly before we broke up she had started dieting and going to the gym and lost a lot of weight and looked the best she ever had. It swelled her head and her ego got out of control and she started saying things like “you’re lucky to be with me“ and acting like she thought she was a hot girl. She bumped her self up from five to a six or maybe a seven, but she was still beneath my league. And as annoying as the low self-esteem was, I quickly discovered that the arrogance of the transformation was more annoying. We broke up because we were never a permanent match anyway, so I didn’t get cheated on, but I did learn to try and avoid the low self-esteem.

He reports nothing at his work when we all know no company allows manager/subordinate relationship ever due to all legal troubles they can go through. So a fail there too. And the ultimate fail is he marries a single mom. I heard no prenup or anything in the story either so still didn't learn his lesson and acted like a moron. As for exwife karma, does it really matter? He got new problems down few years. Oh, lets not forget the father of his stepson is still around and coming to his house, plus the mother of that child already warned him to stay out of their argument. Yea... a big win for him
