Never have I heard any of the music of My Chemical Romance. But a few years ago, me in my 20s, a teenage girl wearing a My Chemical Romance shirt complimented my shirt (I had a The Smiths shirt. The band in which Morrissey, who originally wrote & sings this song was in). Tho I knew of "MCR"s existence, I'd never heard any of their music. Not bad.

genuinely better than the morrissey version, because it's ♡ACTUALLY EMOTIVE♡, and a post-emocore song. >inb4 "mcr isn't emo" correct, but this sounds more like a post-emocore song than a post-hardcore song, and gerard (one of the two main composers of mcr) has the exact same influences as the 90s emocore guys. also, you don't have to play an emo genre of music to be emotive.
