In case anyone was wondering, this album was written before danger days, but they felt that they were making to many rules and they werent really feeling any of these songs. So they scrapped it all and wrote danger days, some of the bits they liked they carried over into danger days, like the "everybody wants to change the the world" bit and the "alright" bits. After they broke up the label released these songs unofficially to get more money

I honestly love both Danger Days and Conventional Weapons equally. They are both great in the sense that they have so much energy. Conventional Weapons has a grittier and more punk edge to it and is really energetic, but Danger Days is more inspiring and the songs stand out a little more due to variation. The energy in Danger Days was watered down a little bit, but it has a really nice sound and an awesome combination of instruments. They're both great in my opinion and I'm glad they produced and released them both rather than throwing one of them in the trash. Although I do think this is seriously underrated and needs more attention.

danger days was a great album. It represents that wee can grow up past our darkness.... that album was an album that helped save my life. Please dont say it was shit. Their musicality was good, the songwriting was great. It helped a lot of people see that there is more than darkness.

look into their songs.... all their songs hav messages and advices that can inspire people to do good things in their lives, and prevent people from doing things that can detroy them. MCR songs inspire people to be happy, cool, caring and etc. those things can protect people from sadness, loneliness, regrets, worry, fear and etc. which would lead people to do suicide. MCR SAVE LIVES!!

If you don’t listen to this at least once with your headphones full volume while jumping around your room not giving a fuck about any of your problems then what is even the point?

3 i love how punk this is but how it has like harmonies and is so upbeat. The drum beat is awsome and guitar adds this great effect when all the voices over lap at the end.Like i seriously feel like i could(if i knew how to) dance to this!! Love mcr! I loved all the conventional weapons but 3 and 4 are definetly my favoret. So awsome and talened!!!
