There have actually been some stories of people committing life ending because of severe bullying and harassment in schools. You should never underestimate how absolutely evil some kids can be and especially if you are seen as different or strange. But one thing that you should always remember is that the people that do this type of bullying aren’t in a healthy place. They are often victims of their own abuse or bullying. Usually from their own family like abusive parents/step parents and the reason why they bully people at school is because that is the only place that they have control. At home they are the victim and can’t control their situation but at school they are in control and they will often vent their frustration and unstable emotions on other people. It’s a type of coping mechanism. The harsh reality is that the bully’s need just as much help (if not more) than the people they bully.

Y/N is one of the most compassionate and kindest people I have ever seen. I totally understand why she doesn’t want anything bad to happen but at some point you are too nice and kind for your own good. What that psycho bitch did to Y/N was not just bullying. It was flat out abuse and harassment and at some point you just have to fight fire with fire. Eventually enough is enough and people that do these bad things need to be put in their place. Again I understand why Y/N got upset but I also think that she overreacted and she should probably work on that. Being a caring, kind, empathetic, compassionate, and selfless person is a great thing but you also need to know when you should put your foot down and deal with a problem. If you just accept bad people doing bad things to you and you never stand up for yourself then you are also a villain and contributing to the problem. If bad people never get any consequences for their behavior they will just continue doing bad things, and that’s where you are the villain if you just accept that behavior. You might think that just taking the abuse and never fighting back is the right thing to do, because you are kind and don’t like conflict and confrontation but if you just sit there and take the abuse and do nothing about it. then you are also part of the problem because you are essentially telling the abusers and bully’s that what they are doing is okay, because there is no consequences to their behavior. so why would they stop? If I was in Y/Ns position I would have accepted that something needed to be done. Even if I didn’t like conflict and violence. Even if I didn’t want anyone to get in trouble I would have accepted it as a necessary evil instead of being petty and emotional just because my boyfriend wanted to protect me. I might not like the behavior but I would at least tolerate it for a few weeks before I would actually start complaining about it! TLDR: Y/N is to nice and needs to realize that sometimes you have to fight back if you want anything to change. And she should have been patient with her boyfriend who just wanted to protect her instead of getting all offended and emotional over his attitude/behavior change!
