Your CLAMP collection is so amazing 😀 I love all the little figures too. Magic Knight Rayearth was my first manga that I ever read so it will always hold a special place for me and CLAMP has always been kind of the highest standard for me when it comes to manga art because their art is so beautiful. My favorite series of theirs is probably Wish because it is the one that I have reread the most. I also love Legal Drug, Cardcaptor Sakura, Kobato and Magic Knight Rayearth. I have reread those a bunch of times as well. I am due for a reread or Angelic Layer because it has been years since I read it. 😊

A few more remarks: •The great thing about CLAMP's manga is that, even if one series has a story that isn't always so good, the artwork makes up for it. And even CLAMP's "flop" manga is still better than most of today's series. 😅 •With Yen Press releasing a new edition of TB later in the year, I really WISH 😂 that some other CLAMP titles will get reprints as well. •Whilst I haven't yet read all of their works, my Top 5 CLAMP manga (as of now) are: 5. CCS 4. Kobato/TB (can't decide between them) 3. Suki 2. MKR (Part I, still need to read Part II) 1. Chobits •I first read Suki in June 2009, when I was 17. At that time, I was extremely depressed. Plus, it was winter (I live in South Africa) and Suki opens in winter. It may not be their best manga, but Suki really cheered me up during that time, so it's very special to me. I read it online (Tokyopop version), so the very day it gets a reprint I'm getting it. 😊 Do you have any CLAMP artbooks? One can get high quality scans on the website Minitokyo. If I had money 😅 and influence, I would've organised an exhibition of CLAMP's coloured artwork to visit every major modern art gallery in the world. Because, for me, their coloured art aren't mere "illustrations": they're PAINTINGS (and STUNNING at that). A few years ago in Japan there was a major CCS exhibition that toured around the country.

@@bizarreindividual4026 • Most CLAMP fans think that their "weak" manga are CLAMP School Detectives, Man of Many Faces, Miyuki-chan and Duklyon. In hindsight, however, I can understand why they made those series, because in-between they were also making very dark and serious works (RG Veda, TB, MKR [Part I has many comical scenes, but it ends in tragedy] and of course X). So it makes sense if they made those "goofy" series as an antidote to the darker manga. • I've decided to get the English Kodansha edition of CCS. With regards to its artwork, CCS is one of the most beautifully drawn series in manga history. But yes, that ONE relationship ( *cough cough* Rika-chan and Terada-sensei) is just...so wrong....O_O And Tomoyo's obsession with Sakura starts out funny, but gets disturbing very quickly. Otherwise it's a lovely story. I'm watching the anime for the first time (subbed). Kero and Mei Ling are hilarious. XD •It's staggering to think that it's already been 20 years since X went on hiatus. They really need to finish it. Indeed, some fans were annoyed that they started a sequel to CCS (which is already longer than the original) instead of completing their unfinished manga. •I absolutely adored the Angelic Layer anime. But the manga has got to be their weirdest in terms of art. It's pretty (IMO CLAMP couldn't draw an ugly manga even if they tried) but also crazy at the same time. :O •Seishirou (TB, X) may be evil, but damn he makes me *swoon* XD. I wish I could draw, then I could create a fanfic manga where he and Subaru, just before it all goes to hell, declare their love and spend one night together. Shirahime-Syo has a beautiful cover and to hear you enjoyed it so much I'll have to try that one day. The anime of Miyuki in Wonderland does have the yuri elements, honestly don't remember if it has the X ladies in it or not. So sad that Tokyo Babylon isn't getting that Anime remake that got announced, maybe one day. I love all the artwork for X but that sucks that some of the story was spoiled for you because of that, I remember the Anime did the same thing which just seems so weird. The movie has a Blu Ray release in German but unsurprisingly no english support. Hopefully Discotek will release it someday as the art in the film is incredible. I have a really nice hardcover artbook for X full of amazing illustrations from Japan, it was the first artbook I ever bought. Nice hearing about your history with CCS, goes to show how important representation etc can be. The anime is still my only experience really with the Magical Girl genre and I really liked the series. Really pleased that the Clear Card arc Anime is getting continued soon. I really need a Kero plush in my collection as I love him so much lol. The anime for Kobato is a series that has eluded me for along time, would love to get it eventually as the art is beautiful. Still need to see Angelic Layer, way overdue on that one. Is it bad I didn't like Chobits? :( idk the Anime didn't do much for me. I love Crispin Freeman so I liked parts of it but I think alot of the more ecchi jokes didn't work for me. Tsubasa and xxxHolic are some series I really should've seen by now. I think I'd love both of them, I love the crossover idea that Tsubasa. I also love Yokai stories so yeah xxxHolic should've been seen by now. I love your passion on display in this video, makes me want to dial in even further what I collect when I see a collection like this. I still have too much filler I think. Amazing Collection.

Wow first of thank you so much for the long comment! I love it! Shirahime-Syo did have such amazing art! I do know it has a soft cover as well if you want to look for that one. I wish I picked the soft cover up when I had the chance cause now I think it would be neat to have both. I have a problem lol anyways it’s super sad about a Snow Goddess and her journey. I am so bummed about Tokyo Babylon anime not happening but maybe with the manga being rereleased than people will get to read it than we will get the anime. I need to try to find the X art book!!! The art for X is stunning! Yes Cardcaptor Sakura help me through some hard times. I know it sounds silly a kids cartoon did. I need to get a Kero Plush as well! What a good idea! That would be so cute! I still need to get Clear Card Anime but kee forgetting to add it to my list. Maybe I want to read the manga first in my mind lol I don’t know I am all over the place lol Kobato I also keep forgetting about. Manga to read and the anime to get lol I’m slacking on my Clamp Collection lol But you would really enjoy Angelic Layer. It’s wholesome cute and funny. It’s a battle one so it’s nothing with Chobits. I can see someone not thinking it. I didn’t like the fan service in it at all. I liked the Comedy in the facial expressions the most. Tsubasa is good just boring in parts to be honest. Don’t tell anyone I send that 😂 Holic is amazing! Think you will really enjoy! The movie was great if you want to start there. Wacky and creepy! I just love how it connects and it will be a fun time reading both together. Plus confusing in a good way 😂 Thank you so much! Yea I just love organizing and rearranging my collection! While I adore Chobits, the main issue is that the ecchi jokes understandably put a lot of people off. That being said, it is so much more than that and eventually it gets really deep. As disturbing as the...er...location for Chii's "on-switch" is at the start 😂 it is eventually revealed to be a symbol of pure love. CCS actually made me more uncomfortable than Chobits. 😮 Art wise, however, CCS is easily one of the most beautifully drawn manga ever made. The Miyuki manga has a chapter in which she ends up in X.

And very much enjoying reading XXX Holic MKR will always have a very soft spot for me though… The One I love one shot is very good.. CLAMP is incredible. Their art is absolutely spectacular and in colour it's just gorgeous. I wish that their manga were as popular as series like One Piece/Demon Slayer, etc. I'm saving up to buy the 25th Anniversary box sets for MKR, as well as the new English editions for Chobits and Clover. The new edition for Tokyo Babylon is coming out later this year. I'm rather hesitant to buy the new Kodansha edition of CCS: there are no bonus colour pages (besides the one for the cover) and apparently the binding and paper are weak. The Dark Horse editions were great (I read them online), but sadly they're now out of print and available nowhere. I loved Suki and Kobato, too, but they both are out of print (along with Wish). 😢 Those figurines! Jealous!!😊❤
