Delightful skipper and wonderful classic small ship, all shipshape and Bristol fashion, complete with well trained crew, loved the drinks bell Shame the minesweeper failed to respond to the ensign dip but what do you expect from someone driving a plastic ship. Bon voyage

Bizarrely, stumbled onto your film, refreshing to find someone who can appreciate the value of something, the craftsmanship, and not the bling (as what they call it now) wishing you all the best salty, happy sailing,

a big hand of applause (although I shy from clapping hands for human performance) save that for annoying of blue birds from my feeder . Definitely entertaining story of this man's pride. I've a few old timer friends I'll forward this to in order to stir up memories . Nice to see you experimenting with bringing humor and tale to your film clip projects !!

Much to learn about flag etiquette, obviously. Vessels moving through the water don’t fly the ensign at the back!

What is with the British and boats?Robin Knox [famous for winning the round the world non-stop sailboat race in 1969]and a gem of a person. At one time the British navy ruled the seven seas.No one has ever come close save the whaling fleets out of Nantucket that did remarkable feats and charted even the south Pacific.Who doesn't know about Moby Dick?Maybe someone should write a song about that!Wait!!maybe they already have!Enter Led Zepplin the sons of these legendary sailors that thought nothing about being dismasted 500 miles from land and considered it par for the course.Amazing! The author of this video stayed put at the dock while the sailboat went by---because sailboats always have the right of way--even when they don't.!!Important to understand that. That boat impersonating a British minesweeper was obviously CIA from America knowing nothing about British protocol.Don't be ringing that bell around me unless it is foggy outside unless you want a black eye.Ha!Just kidding!great video!!!!Who doesn't know about Captain Bligh who somehow found Timor in THE GREATEST ocean feat of all times saving himself and the crew who loved him!And his great great grandson who during the 1969 race in a state of total exhaustion and delirium carried on a conversation with Bing Crosby!I could go on and on about the bravery of such men many trained by the British navy and their ability to navigate by stars and sextant.Amazing!

Didn't really like hearing about an old geyser's fantasy of young girls nude swimers. How about a tour of the boat!

I think this boat would go through well over 12 liters per hour at this clip.

Two great take seats from me “This is a proper ship...it goes through the waves instead of over them.” And I now want a bell to ring for my family to bring me things Wonder how they’ll like that?

Wonderful. Great video. And the owner a man who seems to know how to enjoy life.

And all over the Solent, marina harbour masters make a mental note, next time a Rampart enters, out with the measuring stick! A beautiful boat which I enjoyed seeing many times when I ran a RIB charter out of the Lymington Yacht Haven. Great video too, well done!

I have watched this one so often and enjoy it every time. Not just because Ramparts are very beautiful for a motorboat but the whole thing is just so amusing. One of my other favourites is Dutch Tugboat Else with the wonderful Claudia. I so look forward to each 'My Classic Boat' and am full of gratitude.
