You've made some great suggestions. But adding more cards (Merry) to combine with the super overpowered lunge squads just add to the current meta. It doesn't change it. Dusks already have a life and speed advantage, you should make the merry and bamboo (the both have legion images, it could be "bamboo legion") work together without lunge, then a merry/bamboo team can actually counter a lunge team.

Yes, these are only some ideas and suggestions for the team to inspire. Having lunge cards in only bird and reptile doesn’t seem fair to me. Beast should have a good way to be competitive

@@bluebirdaxie I guess my comment might be slightly out of self interest as I don't have a lunge team and I can't afford one. The top 100 is overrun with lunge teams and fair enough those guys paid a lot of money for those axies. But now adding more cards to pump up an already overpowered comp seems unnecessary and just adds more value to the already un-affordable for most axies in the top100. Any balancing patch should empower the worst of axies not the best. If the beast MERRY combos with plant BAMBOO beasts do get powered up without pumping the bags of the top100.

Not sure when was the last time you played, but this comment sounds like a perception of a very old meta. Lunge was nerfed at the start of the year and there are a lot of accesible option to play them. I would say that you can have a very good team for 30/40usd.

@@bluebirdaxie I've played season 4 and 5. I watched the finals of season4 and JLxVenedick came third playing only 13 different lunge axies. Thats not too long ago. Parasite and pliers might have grown in use but there are still plenty of lunge teams in the top 100.

Anyways, I'm not attacking your suggestions, i think they are good and I agree beasts need some love. Lunge just doesn't need a boost in my opinion and by your reasoning on matching images, Merry should compliment Bamboo not Spear. But we can agree to disagree and I'm Ok with that. :-)
