My Clock Collection #2 (7/23/2020)

This is my clock collection for the 23rd of July, 2020. Since I last updated you on the 13th, I've gotten 5 new clocks up.
In my last clock collection video, I had one novelty clock on a small portion of my wall. Now I have 3. One is a LUX clock company, (The very bottom one), and the other is an owl clock made by J. Englstler. The cuckoo clock in the middle is unmarked. I'm not sure where it originates from.
I also got another Seiko wall clock that has a movement with a very similar construction to that of my art deco one shown previously. This movement is unmarked, however, unlike the first one I've shown which has "Seikosha" marked on the movement. I'll refer to this one as the Seiko Lorus, as it's advertised on the front like that. The wood has some chips and damage, but overall, it works. So it's a good addition to me.
I also got a "Kauahguyckue" submarine clock. The text on the bottom of the face translates to "Made in the USSR". I got this for a steal on Mercari, where I buy most of my clocks from, and it's been working just fine. These were made by a company called Vostok Watches, their logo looks like a "B", which is spelled out "Boctok". I'm not exactly sure why this is.

I'm aware that the Howard Miller (7:53) is chiming a bit slow, it just needs some servicing. Here are all the new clocks I've gotten since I've last updated you all. 1. (0:00) J. Englstler novelty owl clock. 2. (0:03) LUX novelty cuckoo clock. 3. (2:54) Seiko Lorus 30 day wall clock. 4. (6:25) USSR "Kauahguyckue" submarine clock. 5. (7:53) Howard Miller "Regulator" schoolhouse style clock. Small update on my Howard Miller. (It's now December 15th 2020) I've oiled it now and it is working better than before. Yeah, it's my favorite. When I first heard it at the clock shop I immediately thought of those old Gustav Beckers. I just had to have it. Unfortunately, very soon it's gonna need a trip back to the clock shop, as well as my Howard Miller. The chime train is a bit sticky, I had to wind it up just a few clicks for the video. Thanks! That's one of my favorites as well :D It's made by Vostok likely near the end of the Soviet Union. The insignia in the middle says "Командирские" which means "Commander's"

I love those tiny cuckoo clocks you have and the AMS! I wonder, have you ever done a repair on any of your clocks?

I have opened up a few of them, yes! The little blue Westclox at 7:19 took a fall off my night stand a few weeks ago because I'm fairly clumsy. It knocked the winding train gears out of their pivots, so I had to just slide them back into place, and it worked fine afterwards. The old Seth Thomas at 3:30 needed its beat readjusted. It wasn't awfully out of wack, but I also opened it up and set it back into beat. Unfortunately I think it may need a new escapement wheel, or at the very least have it's current one polished, as every once in awhile I hear an uneven tick for about one second, but I have no tools, nor knowledge on how to do that. Both of my Seiko wall clocks (2:56 and 6:54) needed their beats readjusted also, which I was able to do by myself. The last Seiko I showed was actually the first clock I ever "repaired" by myself, if you can even call it a repair job. :P

@@DannysClocks I actually got it for only 100 dollars since it wasn't working, and the lady who was selling it didn't know why it wasn't working. After purchasing it, I tinkered with it, and found that the pendulum crutch needed adjustment. After adjusting it and putting the movement back in the case, it's been working ever since. It was my first official clock repair :)
