Seems like when u have the locker entering animations, the game counts it like you are already in. Which does not work the same in doors, monsters can get u there even during the animation.

My closest call was in a solo run with CS. I have trouble differentiating most of the angler type enemies except pinkie and pande seeing as many of the others are either quieter or similar, but I heard one and not realizing it was in fact CS went into a locker early. Bc of his mechanic he ofc kicked me out, I panicked and managed to get in for like a millisecond again but got kicked out again less than a second later. The only reason I lived was bc I was in a side room
