I am so glad I found this video. I just had my CI surgery 3 days ago and still healing. I am so excited for activation day which is in 10 days. Listening to Dr. Hu talk about her life experiences I could relate to most of her struggles. I was smiling when Dr. Hu said had used techniques to get by as a young person I did the very same thing. Thank you for making this video.

At 2.30 am in the night my 2 month old son used to rotate clockwise, in bed. Invariably landing his toes on his mother's nose & his clean head on my nose. With a thud . I am trying to imagine the doctor's condition then. Son is now married but am told that his clockwise rotational habit still remains. 🙂

My CI is sounding so loud just like my Tinnitus. Can this increase my Tinnitus? I also have hyperacusis. This CI does seem to add too much noise to my head.

yeah, I’ve never had such horrible tinnitus since I got the implant. It’s even worse when I take off my processor. I just got activated a few weeks ago but it’s bad 😞
