Disgusting...the antagonist that first lies about the university and then he looks down on the MC like a total imbecile... Also, I didn't expect that the same MC was forced to drop out "because he was too good about studying and that he was harassed for it as well"...talking about absurds level of jealously or whatever people calls it. Anyway, I'm glad the future wife literally "put that son of *****" in the right place"...and the fact that the same antagonist didn't learn a thing regarding that evening, says a lot about how much rotten his brain is...and he should be glad that he didn't get report to the police for harassment towards the same MC (given that, I believe that, he wasn't just giving more work to do to him...).

Why would anyone be a slave to a new hire like that? Nothing bad will happen if he just dont do his work for him... Just dont do his work and he will get fired fast. I would like if atleast ONE of these have an MC with a spine, who just says "no, i will not do your work" and theres no unrealistic consequenses afterward. And the bad antagonist just gets fired because theyre trying to force work on other people.

I never understand these 'do my work' stories. Is this a part of Japanese culture? I'd put his work on his own desk and do my own shit. This isn't even the also confusing senpai/kohai relationship as it seems the kohai is expected to follow all of the senpai's orders. No this dude is just letting himself be a doormat LOL

@Maninawig6 ай бұрын
Yes, it is part of Japanese culture. Specifically culturalism. The concept stems from not standing out as an individual but rather being a valued member of society. In work, this translate to your personal accomplishments being team achievements, and your workload being a part of the groups. So, if the workload is kicking your butt (say getting delayed cause of a fickle customer), then your coworkers should readily step in to make sure deadlines are met... but good intentions can also be exploited like what's happening here. As for sempai/kohai, that one is simply a respect to your elders. Those who worked there longer or are older than you should be respected. In exchange, they should earn that respect by sharing their wisdom and help on the younger generation. Edit: Just adding that someone like the antagonist will always twist the wording to make it sound like he asked for help. What he said about schooling, while working in the same position, actually is more elitıst arrogance, but would not fly with the manager. Same too would complaining about being asked to help, which is why Keiichi does the work without complaint... that said, co-workers can complain for Keiichi as they can word it as him being prevented from achieving for the group with all the extra work.

In these stories why, doesn't the guy who get's all those stacks of paperwork dumped on him, go to the CEO, of the company about it...??? He's already got lots of evidence right there that the other pompous snot-nosed brat of a co-worker doesn't want to contribute to the company.... just saying. -Anonymus

Here is the aftermath of the story. Now, if Akira thought that his troubles were over, well, they were not, for Noa, Kaede, and Yuriko had some surprises for him, as well as his whole scumbag family, and the tons of students, teachers, administrative staff, and even the parents of the students, that had harassed Keiichi, Kaede, Yuriko, and other people, and some other girls had stepped forward, namely, Yui Akutagawa, Nagisa Hideyoshi, Kanami Miyagi, Kyoko Matsumoto, Rika Ieyasu, Manami Fujiwara, Karin Katagawa, Fukuri Fuji, and Sakura Ishigawa, with tons of evidence on Akira, as well as his allies, trying to do everything from pranks and harassment, to grade tampering, and even all the way to racketeering, extortion, and numerous a s s a s s i n a t i o n attempts, so, since Slug Lower Secondary School, Slug Upper Secondary School, and Scum University had recruited lots of bad teachers, students, and administrative staff, in order to entrap, as well as mentally break down, genius students, and then fake all of the educational accolades by fixing grades, and doing all sorts of unethical, unfair, unjust, immoral, and downright illegal and evil things to people like them, the girls, along with Keiichi, had worked together in order to close down the university, as well as got at least twenty years of classes of students, teachers, administrative staff, and students' parents, and their vast lists of crimes, not only were their grades invalidated, but so were their degrees, and, by the time that the verdicts were read at the trial, there was no way that they were going to get them ever again, and prison justice would soon take effect. Meanwhile, Keiichi, and the other ladies, were taught by a teacher that Noa knew, and they got to wear school uniforms again, and hang out like they were carefree teenagers, and Noa got one for herself, and hung out with Keiichi as well, which was Noa's way to help those ladies, and Keiichi, to get their childhood back. They got their education completed, and then Noa, as well as the other ladies, decided that they all loved Keiichi, so they went to Burkina Faso, the ladies wore other naughty outfits for him on their wedding night, and their honeymoon, then they bought the middle/intermediate/junior high/lower secondary school, high/upper secondary school, and university, along with Slug Primary School, and Slug Preschool, they got the students in those places reeducated, then they were transferred into new schools elsewhere, and all five of those schools were a part of a comprehensive educational system that only was open to genius level students, and they also encouraged social lives instead of elitist introvert shy lives. Keiichi was the man, and his wives were sporting baby bumps, and, soon, they began to manage, as well as become the administrative staff to, the school system, which was named the S.T.A.R., or Science, Technology, And Research, School System. The school also eschewed super important emphasis on tests, and they also catered more towards the career paths of students, rather than making them learn things that they did not need in their lives.

I mentionned this a couple places, but in Japanese culture, you are seen as part of the bigger group, and one who should help out if a collegue is in trouble as then everyone wins. All the collegue has to do is say he asked you to help him catch up and your act of putting his work back on his desk could ne seen as corperate sabotage. Best thing would be for you to do the work as a second collegue like Noa documents the incident and addresses it with the manager as "collegue is trying to sabotage your work by overloading you with his busy work, just to get an early lunch"
@pauldavisjr.32846 ай бұрын

@@pauldavisjr.3284 I it happens daily, from the etiquette I remember, you bring the work to the manager and share concern about the co-worker's health. Unfortunately, competition often leads to cheating! People like that "Akira" character get so desperate to "one up" others, that the true spirit of genuine competition is often lost. The term "elite" is supposed to mean "superior" or "top tier". But part of it stands for higher social status that may be unearned. Akira thought his sheer arrogance alone made him superior!
