The University of Michigan at Ann Arbor is a complicated school for transfer students because of its trimester academic calendar. If one transfers from a school that runs a quarter or a semester academic calendar, calculating credit points could become quite tricky. PS: the intake of out-of-state students to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is small.

could somebody tell me what the big deal about Univ of Michigan is? the weather is awful, it's cold, I don't know what the big attraction is. Maybe I'm missing something.

it is one of the big 10 schools. gives you an ivy-like education while also having a huge student body full of spirit and a plethora of activities. the campus is also incredibly beautiful
