When I came out as a young Black twenty two year old over 40 years ago the world's attitude was quite different. I used to have gay dreams about a brighter day for young people in the future. After all the years of hatred from the inside and most definitely from the outside, and all of the fear and harassment and ignorance and overwhelming pain and loss and stupidity and harrowing darkness of the early years of the plague, (AIDS), I can't tell you how happy and proud I feel when one of "my gaybies" comes out. Welcome to the real world, darling! Free of shadows or secrecy or shame. You are the legacy of every Gay man and Lesbian who took to the streets, the courtrooms and jails, the churches and schools, the living rooms and workplaces and everywhere that people live their lives to see there is room for you to live your best life too.

This guy is a dream man. I mean that. Not only because of his exceptional good sweet looks but because of his wisdom and that at such a young age. Insecurities are an unavoidable phenomenon for an intelligent non con formative person in an often hostile and chaotic world where that person himself being not standard needs to find an also ever changing, nothing is surely, place. The challenge is how to deal with this and make your life a succes. By the sound of it Terrell is doing just that. One needs to be secure that one can and will deal with overall insecure situations over not too long time. Indeed, don’t dwell. I’m 65 and still lots of challenges to deal with at this stage of life due sudden change in my personal situation. Not economical or financial but social. You see: Always shit going on. 😅 Ciao❤

Well if you're under the age of 18 living with your parents or Guardians and you're leery of their behavior and beliefs on the subject you might want to hold off until you're 18 and emancipated so to speak and can take care of yourself financially, because you do not want to end up homeless like so many young underage teenagers. At 24 years of age and already college-educated you now have a privilege that you did not have when you were under the age of 18 and that's a reality for everyone else as well.
