My coming out story | Pride Month Postmortem

Hello all! I apologize for my long hiatus! But here's a video to close out Pride Month! I intended this video to come out earlier, but many, many, MANY things got in my way, chiefly among them my computer s#%tting the bed! Coming out is a sensitive topic, and I hope sharing my story of how it CAN indeed get better. Happy belated LGBTQ+ Pride everyone!

I appreciate that you made this video. I'm sure it must have been really anxiety inducing to film. Some of your nervousness is understandably apparent, but at the same time, you have such a natural way of putting others at ease, that you make even heavy topics enjoyable without making light of the seriousness or loosing track of the main message. This is the first KZbin video I've watched in as long as I can remember where I never got bored & sped it up, or wasn't reading comments or looking for a new video before it was over. Quite the feat to hold my full attention for 18 mins, haha. I hope you post more videos. Only if you want to, of course. You've graduated! You should tell us about that, & what your future plans are. I know, "plans" are currently up in the air for a lot of people right now. Anyway, I would be beyond proud, if you were my son, or brother, or 2nd cousin that I could work into conversations just to shamelessly brag about. If I said you, without any hyperbole, you just made me tear up, would you believe me? You have no idea how much your kind words mean to me. I am so flattered that you find my dumb videos enjoyable! I try to walk the line between humor and serious on certain topics because I don't want people to think I'm making t o o light of a subject ya know? But at the same time I use humor to say things that normally make me really emotional, I'm surprised I was as chill as I was in this video! Also, thats such a good idea! I'm actually on the cusp of a big change, so I can't wait to document that! Also, how have you been? Is your hair still super colorful? I live my hair color dreams vicariously through you!

Hair is kind of blah right now, my town has run out of certain hair colors. I never go anywhere anyway though, so it's alright. I did order some online. Huh, interesting that you live vicariously through my hair colors, I do that with your eyebrows!

I'll have to buy a new gaydar, the one I have never clicked. 😂❤ I'm glad you have such a loving family, I imagine it's a huge shock for religious parents and siblings at first but I'm sure they now realise that god doesn't make mistakes. I'm an atheist myself though to be honest but people's faith can be beautiful to me, especially when they choose love over fear and/or hatred.
