I bought the 15 disc box set last year at a used book store for a great price. I had never seen one up close until then. Very glad to own it and it is the granddaddy of my collection now. Great video.

Pretty much all those scream factory releases look and sound great! The quality of the movies varies though, but as you say, they are all at least watchable. I really enjoy H1, H2, Halloween 2018 and halloween kills.

Years ago at walmart i believe i got the anchorbay box set the blue ray one where all the discs are in one case split between 2 sets

I own Halloween 1-8 and the Rob Zombie Halloween remakes on DVD. As well as the Halloween Blumhouse trilogy on standard Blu-ray. I would so LOVE to upgrade the first 8 Halloween films and the aforementioned trilogy to 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray.

I have the 10 disc collection. It is also scream factory. It’s great if you can’t afford the 15 disc collection. My only complaint about it is it doesn’t have the television cuts which I grew up with. Other than that, it has a beautiful picture and I am content with it.

It’s never enough!!….. the new trilogy just released with special edition box with awesome artwork I own the 20th anniversary edition vhs that came with the snow globe Of course I was a kid…… instead of leaving it in the special edition box it came in at Best Buy, I opened it up lol I still have the vhs and the snow globe but it’s a rare find and very cool if you can find it

quick question, is the packaging for halloween 6, h20, and resurrection the same as halloween 1-5 after you take them out of the slip box? like same dimensions and same continuity with the spines and artwork? because if so I would totally just buy that set and take the three movies out of it and put them next to halloween 1-5 on my shelf to look more complete. also great video man!

Boxes are the same, Halloween 6 box is slightly larger because it has more discs.

I'm pretty much in the same boat, these people have gotten so much of my money it's kinda insane. I either had or have (I paired down some of the dups during a move) all of the ones you stacked aside from the individual 4 and 5 Anchor Bay blurays, not sure why I didn't as 4 is one of my favorites. I got rid of these versions of 1978 after buying the 15-disc box but I had the Divimax DVD with the white transfer, the bluray that used that same white master, the 35th Anniversary version with the fixed color but in the original cardboard box rather than the plastic case, and the barebones anchor bay DVD with the original blue coloring which I still have. Then 2, 4, 5, 6 and 7 on DVD which are long gone. Then the Halloween 2 bluray that came with Terror in the Isles, then the Scream Factory release because I wanted the TV version. Then the original '78 4K before buying all of the new Scream Factory 4Ks of 1-8, and the 4Ks of the new trilogy.

It's insane how they stack up, and how they can get like 95% of the content ported over, but not 100% so that we can downsize the various editions.

@@HunterBoldingVideo It really is. At least, for me, now that 6-8 are out in 4K I can definitively say I'm "finished" as far as this franchise goes. Physical media sadly feels like it's hitting the end of the line and I doubt there'll be an 8K and beyond. (and hard pass on intentionally buying the RZ movies)

The number does not exist. Halloween is one of the only franchises that I have absolutely no problem having every single release!!

Nope, you have to have a 4K player to watch the 4K disc.

I have 3 copies. The OG VHS, the Blu Ray from the Scream set, and the newer 4K Scream disc. Those are all I need. Anything else would be redundant

RESURRECTION is a waste of time! H 2018 Continue Laurie Strode timeline. H KILLS Cast reunion. H ENDS Finish Laurie Strode story. ROB Z (with alt end on DVD) Restart the story. Get real! The 2nd RZ was stupid! H IV ✝ Go back to Dr. Loomis timeline. H V ✝ A new enemy if approaching. H VI PC ✝ You thought Michael was acting under his own power? H III 🏮 Cap off your marathon with the unrelated story.
