100% agree. I used to watch the reruns and I always wanted to watching from start to finish and every episode. It seems like reruns ran for a long time. I would think it would be popular enough for someone to release the complete series on dvd.

Have you ever heard of The Streets of San Francisco (1972-77 ABC police/detective series w/the late Karl Malden as Lt. Mike Stone [24-year veteran of the San Francisco Police Department in its homicide division], Michael Douglas as his first and longer-serving partner, Insp. Steve Keller [1972-76], and the late Richard Hatch as his other partner, Insp. Dan Robbins [1976-77])? Seeing as your father has several older series in his collection, I think he might enjoy that (I have it all on DVD, have seen it all, and enjoyed it very much).
