Oohhh good question. I actually think it is. However I know a lot of people do find Kerby’s books intimidating. He does add in the shading areas with his cross hatching so you know where to place your colours. Check out a flip through first and see if it’s calling to you. 😁

I’d suggest starting with a single page and not a double page spread. I like to flip through my book until I find a page that I can picture completed and start from there. If you were to follow one of my colour alongs, I think the Kumiho might be one of the easier ones. There’s no layering involved and only medium used is pencils. I hope that helps 🤗
