That loose WiFi antenna on the mobo is going to short something

There's no path to ground on the antenna, or you would already have had problems. You could just tape the end to avoid the potential short, or just snip it off - it's not like it would ever be worth paying for LTE for it anyway.

Don’t we all have computer problems… I put Mint on a black 2007 MacBook that I bought for $12 then realized the battery that was missing was $35 and dropped in a $25 SSD. Not my finest investment as it’s mostly just a thing I have now for some reason.

That loose antenna connection really needs some Kapton tape asap before it shorts something out and destroys the computer...

Thanks for watching. The card I removed was for 4G LTE, not WiFi. Once I install the Linux drivers, the separate WiFi card can be used. Also, I have an Ethernet to USB adapter to connect to the Internet. Hope this answers your question.

Thanks for watching. While I have tried game system emulation, I’m sure you could do entry level gaming, but only the basic stuff. I think PS2 emulation is a bit much for this laptop.

Yeah, Linux isn’t for everyone but it’s out there. This little laptop definitely runs better without Windows 10. I’d love to show that but I wiped the disk before backing it up; my bad.
