Thanks a lot for sharing brother. I'm glad I came across your channel, I've been debating whether to go to wgu or not and decided to google some reviews/videos from people about their cs degree once again to then forget about it for a couple of weeks, and your first-term video came up lol. I also did 3D animation courses in hs for fun and have slowly gotten involved in coding for the last couple of years. This is why I love the internet and tech in general, It's kinda crazy how I was brought to your space specifically, but thank you really, you've given me clarity.

I started to venture into CS August 2023 through some online coding courses. I've always love building and optimizing PCs, and yet never considered anything computer related as a career. I regret not discovering CS sooner and getting started sooner, but I'm glad I am now. Ultimately, I switched out of accounting and I'm currently 4 months into my Computer Science degree at WGU and loving it so far.

Hi, thanks so much for sharing! I totally understand what you mean. Accounting to CS is a cool switch, do you find that a lot of your accounting skills transfer over well? Glad to hear WGU's going well!

@@daniel.gallegos I was actually at the end of my 2nd year of my accounting major! So most of the courses I took were mostly unrelated to computer science. I really did find the statistics courses useful however. I assume it would be beneficial for a field like data science.
