I have read the Wars of the Roses books but not the restt yet. The second book in my collection is not called Margaret of Anjou but Trinity. I have the UK trade paperbacks so maybe that is the reason for the title difference.

It is technically "Wars" of the Roses not War as you said. there was not one long continued conflict, but rather several different conflicts. I not its easy to mess up.

Brian do you know about this author’s more recent dip into fantasy with his Empire of Salt series? Ben from Benghis Kahn Books just highly recommended it. He said the books were like reading Abercrombie!!

Funniest Comment: Genghis Khan was a dude that killed a lot of people. Um,... BUT,!!!.... for every person he killed, there was like someone born. Because, he had a lot of wives. 😅 I too, started with The Emperor series. It's great, I love it, still working through the series. Just be warned, people, the author takes a lot of artistic licence in writing about Julius Caesar. It didn't bother me, and I love reading about history and ancient Rome, but to the "Historical Purists" it will probably bother them.

The original UK names for Iggulden's novels are so much better. E.g Wolf of the Plains vs Genghis: Birth of an Empire

You would think that being an author of such detail as yourself that you would at least research how to say the names of ancient cities and characters and so on my goodness Brian completely butchered that review, one of my favorite things you said was this one's called falcon of Sparta and it must be well about Sparta 😆
