My Cornbread Recipe
Preheat oven to 425° and grease 9x13 baking pan or dish.
1T ground flax
1/2 C water
1/2 Oil
2 1/2C milk
Mix all wet ingredients together and let sit for 20 minutes to allow flax to hydrate and start to thicken. While waiting, mix dry ingredients in a separate bowl.
2C whole wheat flour
2C corn meal
1/2 C sugar
2T baking powder
2t salt
Then pour wet ingredients into dry and mix till combined. Pour into prepared baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes depending on desired doneness!
