Virginia is an absolute stats beast. She doesn't get super strong perks like Bomb Squad, but her cloud is really good, and her stats are pretty much perfect - her toughness and endurance are on the higher end, and so is her proficiency. She has low strength and stealth, but she doesn't need grapples and stealth is a mostly useless stat anyway. Her only weaknesses are that she has to get bones for traps, and her endless yapping about Jesse 😅 Also because she doesnt get bomb squad I never have to feel "damn, should've used bomb squad..." when playing her, which is nice.

haha love that last point, it honestly feels like someone that understood the meta of the game was trying to make the best character possible when it came to Virginia... except for the missing Bomb Squad of course

@@Stephalump They had to limit her power somehow. I think Bomb Squad would unironically make her OP. She already has a good ability and really good base stats.

FYI Jumpscare will only activate (or highlight) when you’re sprinting. If you’re just jogging it won’t activate. Which is why sometimes you see it got highlighted and sometimes not. You need to keep sprinting to utilise it.

Virginia is always my go-to victim. High base toughness and proficiency, along with great perks and a great ability! If she had Bomb Squad, she’d be truly OP. I feel like I get way more escapes with her than I do with Connie. Family hard-focus Connie and Danny, when Virginia is just as dangerous.

That's a good point, people don't like chasing Virginia because she's very evasive with her cloud, but she can still easily get high Proficiency so you can't really leave her alone either

I didn't like Virginia so much when I first started playing her, but she is so good for rushing! I honestly think she's one of my favorite victims, now! I've been recording a new video for her lately, and if you'd like to try the same build it's WDKY, Highly Skilled, and Tougher Stuff/Saboteur, with the Healing Cloud ability. 42 into Strength and 40 Prof. You can win against Hands in grapples as long as you're full health and Grandpa's at zero! You can even take the points out of proficiency and put them into Endurance (or max Strength) if you'd like to play more like Leland/Ana.

I had the exact same thoughts, I didn't even buy her for a long time because I wasn't really interested. Now she's tied for 2nd favourite with Leland! Sonny ofc being #1

@@Stephalump Virginia and Sonny are my favorites for Solo Queue right now, but I haven't played Sonny in a bit, since I mostly play in a group. I'll be trying out a sneak attack build on him, and I'll let you know if it's any good!

@@UtileGaming I really love sneak attack Sonny, Fish Hooks feels like it should do a bit more since it only works on sneak attacks, but it's still a load of fun if the person you hit with it doesn't manage their stamina well. It actually made me wonder if you could do the ultimate crowd control by combining Fish Hooks with Virginia's stamina drain cloud, because the normal counterplay to stamina drain is to wait for your stamina to fully recover then move, but if it doesn't fully recover for 30 sec, could be an OP combination, I'll need to test that sometime
