About Citrine... Their crystals are rare. We shouldn't forget, that amethysts are cheaper and most common than citrine. And they are both quartz. Shops are often doing trick to use heat on amethyst. (After this amethysts are changing colour to yellow, orange or brown) That's why I am always checking where actually am I buying crystals. Oh and I have another tip. Tiger's eye has asbestos in it. And asbestos can be really dangerous (it can cause cancer) so please, be careful :) Edit: I have another tip. DO NOT put pyrite in water. Pyrite don't like it ;)

Can you make a separate video talking about how stones have energy and directly effect health with possibly studies to support your findings?

This comment section is so kind and welcoming. . . It’s a nice change to most of them these days
@backtothebooks92016 жыл бұрын
I just want to put this here in anticipation of the various comments that will undoubtedly be made along the lines of 'crystals are rubbish, 'there isn't any scientific evidence', 'you're foolish to believe in this stuff' etc etc. So I don't actually subscribe to the vibration theories that Jordan is talking about, if they resonate with you (pun intended) then awesome, but I like me some empirical evidence and am generally pretty sceptical. BUT I still use crystals to create certain effects and energies in my life. Like lucky underwear or your childhood teddy bear, even the most inert objects become powerhouses when symbolic meaning is placed upon them by an individual. The human mind is infinitely complex and does amazing things, and we as humans LOVE rituals and symbols and creating spaces in which we can feel in control, and if someone decides that keeping a piece of green fluorite on their desk will help them focus, then it will. The scientific evidence of a seemingly meaningless object having an effect when meaning is assigned to it is vast (the placebo effect being the most obvious) and the use of crystals and stones in ritual and spiritual practice is something that transcends time and culture. Crystals do not need to be scientifically verified in order to be a valid and effective part of someone's own personal way of living. TL;DR - If you don't believe crystals have healing properties, cool, no need to come on here and be a dick about it.

I S A B E L L E F L Y N N yes! The way you’ve written this really resonates with me. Crystals do have power, even if it is the power we invest in them with our own intentions.

As a geologist, I can confirm there is no evidence (for now) that crystals emit frequencies. Maybe in the future researches will prove it, who knows! For now, research shows that crystals are more of a symbolic receptor object and that the "placebo" effect of crystals seems to be purely pyschological. This is, however, a good thing if people can benefit from it. Your message has developed this idea very well !
@kayoula61906 жыл бұрын
Crystals do not emit frequencies but everything does in fact have vibration. (Not visible to the naked eye) atoms are always vibrating and moving. However the colder the object, the less vibration. objects in a solid state do have atoms that are definitely closer together but according to the theory of matter, everything does have a vibration. However a lot of people don’t understand that frequencies and vibrations are not the same thing. In the word frequency there’s the word frequent which measures the length of time between each wave (how frequent each wave is) kind of like waves in the ocean. However vibration is a state of movement.

I hate being that person, but I think your bigger piece of citrine is actually burnt amethyst or some other crystal. Citrine is never that dark on any part of the crystal, and it’s supposed to be more pale yellow all throughout. Even the darkest parts of real citrine are more deep yellow, never outright brown. People burn crystals to sell them as citrine because it’s cheaper, and the dramatic look sells better. Hope this was helpful in some way! It is a gorgeous piece regardless!

Real citrine is more on the greener side and the cluster will have a shape that differs from amethyst. As an example, those are real citrine : gyazo.com/aa34b3e3504f23dc78657f7963e5b1a9 -&- gyazo.com/17fb5ef4d36fc504b28340b4b9237adb Look how green-ish they are! And the shape differs from an amethyst as well. Hope this helps! ♥

How do you keep all this information in your head... I have a few smaller crystals since I've been a child and with my mom I bought some bigger ones because our beloved store which used to calm me down very much when I was a child closed and they had everything on sale... You must be really interested to keep all that in mind (especially since you have so many of them) and to use them as 'they're supposed to be used'. I love it, you're always setting my mood to becoming more aware of myself and trying to live in the present moment. Thank you Jordan. 🌹

beautiful video! so relaxing ✨ I don't know a whole lot about crystals but I think your citrine crystals may be (fake) heat-treated amethyst. It's a very common thing for crystal sellers to do this because amethyst is often more widely available and therefore cheaper. They use a process of heating the stones until the purple looks like an orangey amber colour. The reason I think yours might be amethyst is the white in them, especially the larger one, has the typical fake citrine appearance. Wanted to let you know because not many people are aware of this sort of "scam?" and I thought you might want to look into it ☺️

Hayley Wells Are crystals proven to work though? I think it might be more of an illusion, if you think it’ll work it might seem like it does. But I don’t know, I haven’t done any research so I might be very wrong.
@convalescence6ify6 жыл бұрын
I did a quick google: time.com/4969680/do-crystals-work/ is a good article. Basically like placebo: if the person believes they will feel better by using X, Y or Z then they feel better, it won't change of improve the underlying condition or change the situation but they will feel more at ease. That's a significant thing if the condition or situation causes anxiety because high anxiety and stress have been said to make the immune system weaker and that's never a good thing. If using the crystals to feel better about travel, love life, confidence... then the mindset change "this is really going to work, I am going to rock this!" (no pun intended, didn't catch it until checking my terrible spelling) is what matters (not the crystal) a bit like a footballer's lucky socks. If you're more confident then you (the collective you) will be more attractive and successful and if using crystals makes you feel more confident then go for it!

How to store them.. And use them.. Can they be stored together?
@hufflepuffbeitch12906 жыл бұрын
Some people say to store it in silk or satin bags to help protect them from others energies when not in use, so less need to cleanse the crystal. However, a container is fine, silk bags are probably expensive, I don’t know 😂 Just don’t put polished stones with sharp ones, it might damage the crystal.
