It is v common. Just be very gentle while detangling in the shower and make sure there is enough slip in your hair for this process. Shedding while showering is pretty common, especially for curly girls because the only time we comb is in the shower.

Do you protect your hair at night with a bonnet, or satin scraf or a buff? If not that can be the reason. Or if you're new then it can be that your hair is still transitioning and over time it'll get better. My hair tangles a lot too but only the top of my head because that is what we rest on during the day. Your hair might be lacking moisture too... Do use a gel to hold it in.

that is the case with most Indian curl brands I feel. That is why I have invested in Cantu products because they are often in the range of Indian products and the quantity is 3 times more than what we get here. I got the curling cream from cantu and their define curl gel. It was the same cost as Ashba but I got so much more product. I'd suggest you keep looking at other options as well because even if it is a one time investment, the products last very long.

@@manasvi2758 yeah, I have low porosity hair (2c -3a curls) and my hair loves the Cantu Curl Activator and the cantu curling cream. I apply both products on soaking wet hair to balance out the thickness of the products, then I use the denman brush to spread the product evenly. Later, I use either the Cantu define and shine custard as a gel or the gel by Ashba Botanics. After my hair dries (a cast should form, that is when you know you have used sufficient gel to maintain good hold) I use argan oil to break the cast and fluff out my hair to add volume. I only use a diffuser when I need my hair to dry quickly.

They will last at least 6 months (even if you wash your hair twice or thrice a week) because you don't need a lot of products (personally speaking). That is why I invested in Cantu rather than Asbha even tho I like Ashba products. If you are looking for something economical, try Arata? Yes it's called cowashing. So yes, Maybe u might... But don't do only that, I mean do shampoo ur hair like once in a while atleast so that u remove the buildup from ur scalp. U can also just bye a shampoo that is really mild or buy an actual cowash, Coz they will have some cleansing ingredients... U can try the fix my curls evermore... Or see fore other cowashes available in India... Hope this helps! :)

Wow products are good as they are sulfate silicon and parabene free but not designed for curly hair 😕. Tbh these method are just for influencer because even I don't have this much time while maintaining office because I can't wait for my hair to air dry in the morning
