Totally get it. I'm in the same boat. I've been better these last few months, but when I was low it just felt like making it through the day required all of my energy. Getting up brushing my teeth, making my toddler breakfast, and other daily tasks felt like climbing a mountain, so things like friendships and work and hobbies took a backseat to trying to survive day to day. Hope you'll continue to feel a bit better and I'm stoked you're back ❤

Thank you for sharing with us. I'm so sorry to hear you've been struggling with depression. I actually have an anxiety disorder so I completely understand some of the struggles you've shared, and how your mental health can interfere with content creation while at the same time be an outlet for it. There have been times I have sat down to make content and just get so nervous and get those thoughts of not being good enough. All that to say, I 100% understand why you needed the break and you are NOT alone 💕 Hugs 🩷 I'm so happy you got in the creator network; you are so deserving! Honestly, your story with Amee and Aiden sounds so much better than any rom com 😆 Also I know it was stepping out of your comfort zone a little bit using mm hairs but these sims are absolutely gorgeous! I've had a problem with depression for years, when the episodes come you can't do anything, not even the things you love. It's a very hard life to deal with something like that. As someone who deals with depression as well, I 100% understand how deep in the slumps and debilitating it is. It does not sound silly at all. I have "high functioning" depression in that I sort of exhaust myself, which is also not good. I know many people that struggle with depression that get that low energy drain, and honestly, I really respect how much you honored yourself and are opening up about it. Sharing your experiences is an act of courage. It's been a rough month for me too- and I just so admire you. It's cool to see you're at once staying true to what you love but also mixing it up. I myself was maxis mix when I used cc ha, so I definitely love a mismatch of things. I just am often so blown away- even though I don't use cc now- by how many amazing cc creations there are. I agree that this place is also lovely- I love hoe the pops of color balances the neutral tones. Egghead reminds me a lot of absent minded from sims 3, or it sounds like it? I like how you delved into her backstory of relationships and how it's shaped her desires and her focus. (she is really rocking her style!)- and then how you explained the contrast between personalities, and interesting dynamics.

Girl with everything I've been through, I'm surprised I'm not battling depression myself. I feel bad for people who go through it. I think my daddy may be experiencing it himself though. He hasn't been the same since we lost my mama in 2021. He's lost so much weight. He used to cook all the time, now he doesn't. We don't really celebrate Thanksgiving or decorate for Christmas anymore either. Sims can get repetitive and boring, so I thought maybe that's what was going on. I'm glad you're bouncing back though. It's good to see you.

I keep having trouble where I can’t play with a two sims house. I cleared out my cc folder and update then did a 50/50 technique. How do you still fix the problem please help. I glad you are feeling better. I understand where you are coming from.

You don't have to stick with one style. MM and alpha are both amazing. I mix them together all the time. Some sims look better with MM to me while others look good with alpha. I love the ones that can pull off both though. MM has come a long way. That's why I have so much of it now. I didn't know you were 34. You look younger. I just turned 39. The gray hairs are starting to pop in the front. lol 🙄

I totally agree! It's so much fun to play around with different styles, and some sims definitely do pull off different cc better than others haha!
