Sorry.. It looks like I forgot to give the name/maker of the 3rd magnetic haptic from the left, at 31:09. I believe it is called the "Check And Ballance" by Sphere Design. It looks like InsWork Store on AliExpress still has a couple available in both Brass and Titanium. Unaffiliated link to store ⤵️ a.aliexpress.com/_mKifZs6 Here is a link to my review ⤵️ kzbin.info/www/bejne/mIeoaH6qZ5ubidUsi=3a_bmryqAtxXmwEk Thanks and good luck 👍 🙂

🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation: 00:03 *🤖 Introduction to the video and the format* - Overview of the video format, where the presenter will briefly talk about their top 10 mechanical and magnetic haptics rather than comparing or measuring them. - The mechanical haptics will be covered first, followed by the magnetic ones. 00:54 *🧰 Organizing the mechanical haptics* - The mechanical haptics are arranged in chronological order based on when the presenter bought them, not in order of preference. - The presenter mentions they will discuss each one briefly and then share their top 3 favorites. 01:50 *🔧 Discussing the Macki CP5 mechanical haptic* - The Macki CP5 is one of the earlier mechanical sliders, with a ball plunger that hits divots on the outside surfaces. - The presenter likes the texture and feel of this haptic. 02:27 *🔍 Discussing the 01 EDC mechanical haptic* - This haptic has a dense or standard detent pattern that can be adjusted. - The presenter considers this one of their top favorites due to the long travel and satisfying clockwork-like feel. 03:28 *🪙 Discussing the mechanical coin by G Studio* - This haptic has an arc shape that can be awkward to hold in certain directions. - The presenter mentions the importance of using the right balls and friction points to tune this haptic. - This is the top coin in the presenter's collection. 05:23 *🧠 Discussing the synthetic Pei material haptic by Doom EDC* - This is the presenter's top synthetic mechanical haptic, with a three-level design. - The presenter likes the dense plate version with more clicks. 06:45 *🍭 Discussing the "lollipop" mechanical haptic by P EDC* - This haptic has both linear and rotational movements, and the presenter is very happy with it. - It has a lanyard hole that the presenter is working on a custom lanyard design for. 09:08 *🧜‍♀️ Discussing the "mermaid reborn" haptic by GD EDC and 42 Cosmo* - This haptic has a scale pattern on the back and is a collaboration between the two companies. - It has a Teflon interior with balls and springs that run along a ratchet-like track. - The presenter likes the shape and feel of this haptic. 11:45 *🛡️ Discussing the "guardian" haptic by Chenu* - This is a pivot point, pivot slider mechanical haptic that the presenter finds very solid and well-made. - The presenter has developed a technique of using their middle finger to keep the rotation smooth. 13:48 *🔨 Discussing the Juz EDC titanium and stainless steel mechanical haptic* - This haptic has a complex internal mechanism with a "tuning fork" vibration element. - It allows for interchangeable covers and adapters to use other sliders on top. - The presenter prefers the dense detent pattern on this haptic. 17:36 *🏆 Presenter's top 3 mechanical haptics* - The top 3 mechanical haptics for the presenter are: 26:08 *🧲 Discussing the "stamp" magnetic haptic by ACDC* - This haptic has a ball track slider design, as well as a pivot pin that allows for two-click forward and backward movement. - The presenter has the zirconium version, which has a blasted texture that feels ceramic-like. - The presenter discusses how the pivot pin can be removed to turn this into a pure pivot slider. 29:16 *🧩 Discussing the modular magnetic haptic* - This haptic allows the front and back plates to be swapped out, including different materials like titanium. - The presenter likes the modularity and adjustability of this haptic, allowing them to customize the magnetic feel. - Despite some initial issues, the presenter is overall happy with this haptic. 36:56 *🏔️ Discussing the "top speed slot" magnetic haptic by YZ EDC* - This is a well-made 3-level pivot slider, though the presenter was disappointed it didn't come with all the expected accessories. - It has tight tolerances but the presenter doesn't use it much. 38:16 *🚀 Discussing the original 01 EDC magnetic haptic* - This was the presenter's favorite magnetic 3-level slider when they first got it. - It has very smooth and precise movement, though some early models had issues with magnets falling out. - The presenter has added Teflon strips to help smooth the movement over time. 40:38 *🌆 Discussing the "Sky Tower" magnetic haptic* - This is a nice pivot slider that can also accept tritium vials for lighting. - The company also makes a smaller companion magnetic slider that can be used with this one. - The presenter likes the overall design and modularity of this haptic. 44:07 *🐜 Discussing the "S Nano" magnetic haptic by Ant Design* - This was the company's first magnetic slider, with a 3-level captured design. - The presenter received a free companion "End Power" ring spinner from the company as part of a reviewer promotion. - The newer version of this haptic allows for more adjustability of the magnets. 47:41 *☸️ Discussing the "Samsara" magnetic haptic* - This is a synthetic magnetic haptic with a pleasing pattern and feel. - The presenter considers this their top pick for a magnetic synthetic haptic. 48:50 *🍭 Comparing the magnetic and mechanical "lollipop" haptics* - Both versions of the "lollipop" haptic have a similar design, with the magnetic version called the "four-leaf clover". - The presenter's magnetic version had some initial issues with the finish, but they were able to clean it up. - The magnetic version has a simpler 10-click movement pattern compared to the mechanical's more complex detents. 51:19 *🌊 Discussing the magnetic "lollipop" haptic* - The presenter explains how the magnetic "lollipop" haptic can be used for sliding motions. - They note that the magnetic version tends to want to jump back to the center position more than the mechanical version. 51:52 *🛡️ Discussing the presenter's top 3 magnetic haptics* - The presenter's top 3 magnetic haptics are: - The "Battle Shield" can be used as a pure pivot slider by removing the center pin. - The "Sky Tower" offers good versatility and the presenter enjoys the modular accessories. 53:41 *🏔️ Further discussing the "Sky Tower" magnetic haptic* - The presenter finds the "Sky Tower" to be well-made and inexpensive. - They mention a review by "Fidget Focused" showcasing the modular accessories for the "Sky Tower". - The presenter is interested in the companion magnetic slider accessories, though finds them a bit expensive. 54:57 *🔜 Closing remarks and teasing an upcoming review* - The presenter states these are their current top 10 mechanical and magnetic haptics, but expects their preferences to change over time. - They mention an upcoming review of a new haptic piece that has recently arrived. Mechanical sliders 👍

Many thanks! Watched the video. This is exactly what I was looking for! No one really goes deep dives like you do. I really love my TG Skytower and your video would help me repair it. Btw, I am a fan of pivot sliders. Which do you enjoy more: Skytower vs Lollipop?

As always, your reviews are the best. Thank you. I love my TG Skytower. However, the rotating module that holds the magnets got unscrewed. I attempted several times to reinstall the magnets but got frustrated because they keep jumping off the tracks. Is there a better way to do it? Kindly help. (Btw, where can I buy those metal blocks that are used to rest the fidgets during installation of magnets?)

Thanks you. I should have done a more thorough review of this one.. Looking back, I barely took it apart at all, and I entirely skipped over the middle rotating piece.. I decided to make a new short video showing full DISASSEMBLY of the Sky Tower 👍🙂 Here's a link to the new video ⤵️ kzbin.info/www/bejne/aJeTqZJ6q99rj6ssi=Uh-v4XhxOf8y0h3m

@bruner

I originally bought mine from an online store that I can't remember.. If you search AliExpress for "GAO SQUARE" you will find several stores offering them, but I can't tell you who to trust.. I originally paid something like $90-$100 for mine. But now, you find them anywhere from $12 to $82, or even more. If you do find one, it should come with two sets of magnets. A large set and a smaller set. If I were you, I would shop around AliExpress and look closely at all of the photos before you decide to buy. I wouldn't hesitate to ask questions before you buy, as well.. Most stores usually reply pretty fast. Good luck 👍🙂
