I just started my 2 strand loc journey almost a week now. Why wouldn't you just run the shower on your locs? Why spray?

Congratulations on starting your loc journey!! So I don’t want to fully saturate my hair with water to the point that it’s soaking wet since I just used this method to make my hair less stiff and more manageable in the morning so misting it is all I needed to do for that purpose. Plus I don’t wet my hair directly in the shower unless it’s wash day and I’ve covered it with a stocking cap or used the braiding and banding method because the twist would unravel. So that’s something to keep in mind in the beginning of your journey.
