I've had mine about 4 months and I love it, and I bought my D45 electric with case $361. And I love it, and wouldn't sell it for nothing, it's the closest thing to the real deal. I've learn it's all original woods. Most don't know that you can buy your original Martin D45 guitar kit for around $500-600. Dollars and put it together yourself, I rather buy it already put together for the price I paid, lol.

I know man, I'm never selling mine either. People talk trash about them but never laid a hand on one. Playing is believing. I also have two Ace Frehley LPs ,Swaped the pickups to alnico IIs. Killer sounds.

I got mine on ebay. $400. It sounds fantastic. I have to admit it doesn't sound like a $11k guitar though. At least mine didn't. Mine sounds more like a $7000 guitar.

@@MrMikeb8 It came shipped in padded styrofoam container. For an extra $100 you can have a case included. The top is solid Spruce. Its a well made guitar and for the price a very good deal. I have 3 (Martin, Taylor, Gibson js200) China copy guitars. Im confident you'll be pleased.

I bought mine from Ebay and the seller had outstanding feedback, especially on his Chinese Martin D-45's, That's why I bought one for $305.00, Sounds and play's amazing, BTW, I have a real 1990 Martin Brazilian Rosewood D-45 and they sound and play real close to each other.

You're going to be disappointed with it because it won't play like the real thing. I bought one from China and it looked great, but it played like a $300 laminate guitar.... which it was! Lol. It took a bit but now I have a real Martin and you can't compare the two. Their just not in the same league. Apples and oranges. But if you're happy that's all that matters. Enjoy your day

One of my friends has a Chinese D45 and it sounds NOTHING like any of my real Martins. We swapped guitars for about 30 mins and it was night and day. I'd say the copy was a 2 and my real Martin was a 10 on tone, feel, and finish. To each his own. Nothing wrong with buying/loving one, but everyone in the band felt the same way with the one he had. When you pay $500 for an acoustic, you get what you pay for.

I own a d41 authentic . Anyone that plays a martin can spot a fake right off the bat just by looking at it .the sound is completely different also the wood looks different on this compared to the real d45 yes martin makes a profit but even the raw material it takes to build a martin cost more then a knock off . but for the money it is probably a good buy for those who wish they had a real d45 or d41 martin . for the money you spent on this you should have saved it and picked up a real d28 used for around $1,500. and you would have been blown away by the sound and a proud owner . I am not putting you down in anyway on your purchase . Just trying to help the next person contemplating or on the fence about doing this verse being the real thing go with the real d28 or d18 don't buy chinese or the cheap mexico ones even tho expensive it will be worth it and you will have no regrets later and be able to sell it if you chose almost for what you paid for it .

I already have some name brand guitars, Martin, Fender, Gibson, Epiphone, Squire, just got this for the fun of it. It's a keeper. Better than some of the others I have played. Good deal for the money.

@@ronroberson I have seen and played a knock off before if you get the solid wood ones they are not bad with a good setup definitely better sounding then any guitar you could buy in the states at the same price . stay away from the laminate ones tho . still for around 750 for the imitation solid wood . I would put it towards a d28 .but to each there own . this message is for those on the fence contemplating on a real one . but if your like Ronald and know what you are getting and ok with it go for it .

Thanks buddy, that's what I say also. I have 2 genuine Martin's, but in my econic condition, I will never be able to afford a real d45. This is as close as I will ever get to owning one. Bought this on a lark after watching demos on youtube. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality.
