I don't know if you will see this, but the levers on the right. One raises/lowers the blade, one is forward/reverse, whats the other for? A hi/lo?

One lever is blade control, then the transmission has 2 levers. 1 lever does forward neutral reverse and 2nd lever is 1-5 speed.

I started out on a 9u D6 series. it was a rope start pony engine, You stood on the tracks to pull the rope

Lee Watkins some of the cat's you could use the pony motor for cold starts but you could also have a electric starter motor for quick start up's

That may be true. My 1950 D4 has a electric start, used to start the pony motor (gas), which is then used to start the diesel main motor. There is also a flywheel that a rope can be wrapped around to manually pull and start the pony motor, which then, again, is used to start the main diesel engine.

Needs to up the fuel pressure. To smooth out engine rpms. Sort of like surging of a gas engine. With its age it's mechanical adjustment (wrench it) new stuff it would be computer diagnosis to locate electronic failure.

After watching a number of these video's I've come to the conclusion , that you'll don't OWN any of this equipment ! Nor do you own the ranch where the equipment is parked . So , it seems you'll just operate the equipment that the old rancher decides to buy . After all it looks like the only work you do is on the old man's ranch , or some other ranch who needs a tank cleaned , a road built , or brush pushed . I wish you would clarify this situation so those of us who enjoy watching these vids can understand the context of your working relationship . Thanks !
