In my opinion, the history that this car has adds to its value. This car was very much enjoyed. A daily commuter, weekend drag racer and a winter tower. This car has more then served it's purpose and has the right to look like it is on it's last breath, yet it looks like it just came out of the factory. This is an incredible story. Kudos to your father for keeping this gem so well preserved.

Did not know they made a notch back 440 in 69 ! I had a fastback forest green 440 though high-school and later. Had so much fun with that car. Had to sell it in the mid 80s. Still have the original Carter carb from it. Good times there. Thanks

Great video! Mom bought a 69 notch back cuda, it was also powder blue. Only had slant 6 but it had the mid body stripes. It looked fast. To this day I have cudas in my garage. The 68 has a 383 4sp. Very fun to drive.

Lots of memories both old and newer with it. We are stewards of history. No reason mine, and his won’t keep making memories on into the future.

Wonderful! Really enjoyed this video! I lived up there from 72 to 79 in Baldwinville. Sorry your Dad is wrong, My 69 383S fastback is more powerful and very similar! Non the less he is a "Pistol" and obviously was a good driver! The 'Cuda 340/383 and the 440 'Cuda in either fastback or Notch was a stripped down version with a little less weight and comfort, buckets and console were optional and generally pushed the buyer to the Formula "S". The 'Cuda was marketed for just what your Dad put it through!
