You Father is now getting his karma. He is getting what he gave. He isnt crying cause you hurt his feelings he is crying because of shame and humiliation because he failed you and himself. You owe him nothing. And you owe your step brother even less. Please just live you life and leave them behind.

I don't blame the step mother. What is the point of throwing good money down the drain? If you are pawning off jewelry to pay the bills, your business is done. They can't get a business loan, because it isn't worth anything. I wouldn't feel bad, what are you supposed to do, carry the business on your back? You are more likely to be dragged under with them. Presumably the father had experience running the business before handing it off, and the step-son had 9 years of experience since then. If it was something a bit of experience could fix, they would of fixed it. They are flailing. There is nothing you can do to help.
