Those are probably the sweetest words I’ve heard from a dad when talking about BTS. You are both so understanding and man it really touched me after hearing the prejudice against BTS from my own parents. This was a great reaction and now you’ve earned a new subscriber :)

Same!! My mom loves BTS but my dad is the exact opposite unfortunately. He doesn’t understand why I would love a band let alone music in a different language and thinks their not good because their not western and don’t sing in English 😪 And he doesn’t listen when I try to explain explain why they’re so good 😪

When it comes to BTS, surprisingly to some, it is Jimin who is the calmest when everyone is emotional or calm, until his empathetic ass can't help but absorb the energy of the rest of the group and he also becomes emotional. Jimin is the type to try to be strong when everyone else is overwhelmed or crumbling. But when Jimin speaks as he did in the video, it means he is trying to stay strong, his voice goes deeper when emotional. Anyway, I loved your and your dad's reaction. 💜 My parents also like BTS a lot, tho their music is not much their style, they appreciate their message, effort, and humbleness, they like them a lot as human beings.
