Very perceptive comment about Mamamoo's vocal arrangements. They make it seem so easy that their masterful vocal arrangements are usually overlooked but it's a key element of their signature sound. As far as I know Mamamoo does their own vocal arrangements in collab with creative partners such as Kim Dohoon, the co-CEO of their label RBW and a longtime songwriter who has written tracks for many artists over the years. Solar, Moonbyul & Hwasa co-wrote Decalcomanie with Kim Dohoon. The intro and interlude sections in the Decalcomanie MV are from the song Memory on the same album and were included just for the sexual awakening scenes in the MV (lol at the lemon squeezing, cherry popping and "deflowered" roses). They're not on the recorded or performance versions of Decalcomanie. As you can tell Memory is a jazz ballad, which gives you a taste of their versatility (Solar, Moonbyul and Kim Dohoon co-wrote Memory).

Some members have released their new solos recently..hope you could check them out. Or could you react to a BTOB guide??
