I can feel the pain in your voice! I can also sense that you are holding back your vulnerability! I went through a similar phase in 2023 where i last my father to pancreatic cancer. He passed away within a spam on 1.5 months post diagnosis. I know you have the strength in you to pass this phase but do let out your emotions to people close to you or to yourself! Do not bottle your emotions! More power to you!

Hi Subha, appreciate your efforts in putting across this message!! I am sailing in the same boat with my mother. If I may add with regards to symptoms: 1) Have a general physician / family doctor so that they can track trends in one's health 2) If a symptom (like lack of appetite, cough, cold, loose stools, constipation, pains and aches, headaches, vision & hearing changes, etc.) is not getting any better within 10 days to 2 weeks, go see a doctor. 3) If weight gain/loss is UNINTENDED (not taking active steps like special diets, workout, supplements etc), get it checked

It was gut wrenching experience to see my Hero go through what he went through. But, i hope he is in a better place blessing my mom and me! Hugs to you.

I could able to relate what u' ve went through these many days coz I ve been this through phase last year ..In my case ..My dad got fever& cough all of sudden ..we went and consulted a doc nearby my place& they said its just a viral fever and gave some medications for a week ..we gave medicines according but after 3 days he had some discomfort while breathing..I could able to sense that something wrong is gonna happen about his health but my dad was not complaining (may be we woulda felt I get will get afraid of coz I was 2 months pregnant at that time)next day morning my mom said to me that he is not reacting for wat she is saying ..we immediately took him to MIOT which is nearby our place ..They admitted him & took all the tests ..next day results came stating as it's TB & its contagious..It shook me ..we all were in shock ..before 3 days he was doing well how suddenly he got TB I dono ..I couldn't able to process anything and hosp ppl also dint allow me to see my dad..They just said Mam it is contagious u can't even touch or go near ur dad ..every part of this body is deteriorated coz of TB.10days he was in the hospital..I saw him with lot of wires in his nose & mouth ..as u said they r giving fuilds through that pipe & catheter was also connected ..we wanted to have some food during his last days but we r unable to give him ..11 th day he got heartattack and he passed away ..so everything happened in just 15 days .. couldn't able to cry also ...ppl around me were saying something will happen to the baby if I cry ..those days were really really horrible & terrible ....it took so many days for me to move on & to live without his presence ... I can very well relate to your situation because,My Father also got affected by cancer in the pancreas and underwent a major surgery for more than 10 hours and then so many rounds of radiations and chemotherapy. It was the time i just completed my schooling. My life turned upside down. Not able to enjoy my college days to the fullest. My father suffered for 5 years and then passed away because cancer never stopped spreading inside even after major operation, radiations and chemotherapy. So my life became incomplete with his absence.

Like you said….Some doctors in India dont know how to converse with patients family or the patient…I am a doctor myself…And I had a miscarriage in my 5th month due to a complication…I was literally begging the doctor to explain to me whats happening…but still the gynaecologist in Mumbai failed to do that..for 24 hrs i didnt know what was happening..and they kept giving me false hopes that baby is fine..nice heartbeat..after 24 hrs suddenly she came and told me that the baby wont survive the complication and hence need to abort…horrible time and i had to go through this being a doctor myself…

My mother passed away 2 months back, due to massive heart attack, it was after we did a major hip replacement surgery which was a correct surgery for 2020 hemiarthoplastry surgery. It's in Chennai. I don't understand where things went wrong it was with very popular hospital Chennai. Fate. It looked and was certified as natural death, but couldn't understand did we miss something or was it our carelessness or whatever it is. Life is unfair
