Respect poor workers like Janitor or even a mcdonald's worker. Any of them can be a father like in this video struggling to provide for his daughter. For us children, respect your parents and appreciate what they do for you. One day, they won't be with us anymore.

Actually this the Hongkong commercial, but all actor are Thais who produce this Ads, same team with Thai life Insurance team

This was from a life insurance company? Lol People who make the commercials are so backwards. The man portrayed has nothing to be ashamed of. A parent should teach their child that there is no shame in working hard as long as it's an honest days work. Not that the value of hard work is something to hide and be ashamed of. The child seeing the example of dishonesty in their parent hurts the child's character way more than poverty ever could.

R Can you are right and that's why they portrayed it exactly the way it is. The daughter doesn't mind that they are poor but she is hurt that her dad lied to her. While, the dad lied in order for people to not look down on her daughter....it's a very common thing in Asian region, parents hide away their hardship in order to not make their children worried or feel less important/ lower classed compared to people around them.

Peace and Soulful yes, I have noticed classes/ levels/status of people are a very big deal in Asia from just watching Asian dramas. :) it is very strange to me, but I cannot pretend to know exactly why or where it comes from or judge without coming from that culture.
