And I about started crying because my cheekbones are not prominent either so this really helped with my self esteem instantly because you see tons of makeup channels but they all have "perfect faces" so that NEVER helps. And I wear liquid eyeliner pretty much daily and people always judge me for it because they say I'm either boring because I don't have "natural beauty" or wearing too much makeup. But eff that because I freaking love putting on makeup and have been since I was thirteen because I was awesome at it. Thank you SO much, Amanda. You have just made my self esteem go up like 120%. For SO many years I wasn't able to even leave my house unless I had a full face of makeup on; but after I got sick, I just stopped worrying over the judgement of others (focused on worrying about myself haha) and I flat out stopped wearing makeup. But that didn't make me happy either, because I'm a makeup artist and makeup is such a wonderful tool to make you feel beautiful! So now, I'm still sick - but I definitely appreciate makeup more as a tool for pampering and boosting my overall confidence, rather than being my shield from the eyes of others. I know it takes a lot of courage to go barefaced in a video; You have nothing to be worried about Amanda - you are radiant! xx

SweetBlossom102 I know the feeling! I'm extremely pale too. Dark circles can be particularly challenging to hide on us; because a traditional salmon coloured concealer will be either too dark for us, or too big of a contrast with our skin tone. If you have a Sephora close by, I'd highly recommend looking at either the Make Up For Ever concealers or the Kat Von D ones. MAC is always good too! Good Luck! xx

I love how you use products which aren't too expensive. Almost all the other youtube beauty gurus use products which I could never afford. I love how down to earth you are about what you use 😊 I noticed how when you applied eye liner you pulled on your skin. I don't usually leave comments, but I just thought I'd say that after the first moment in the video when you didn't have makeup on my jaw actually dropped at how stunning you are. You're always stunning, but it was almost a shock at how gorgeous you look in your no makeup, no hair done glory. First of all thank you SO MUCH Amanda for posting this. I am in the same boat as you with hormonal acne. It's gotten much better as I've gotten older (I've had it since I was 11, and I'm 18 now) but the scarring and discoloration is still there. I'm trying to be more comfortable and wear makeup less but I still feel the need to wear makeup whenever I go out. Seeing you do this has really encouraged me to be a little bolder, even if I don't stop wearing makeup all the time. Ok, I just have to say this. You look so nice and young without make-up! And I don't think you have to worry about your acne, because it's really REALLY not bad at all. Thanks so much for this video Amanda!!! I have a huge issue with acne and I've been trying to find some really good skin care products and regimens because my skin is super super sensitive and it gets really oily (ugh). The double cleanse is definitely something I'll be using on a regular basis, I had no idea it even existed lol. I had really low self esteem growing up, so doing things to make myself feel more confident was the last on my list, but as an adult I'm understanding who I am and what makes me happy and what makes me beautiful, which is really awesome compared to being depressed all the time. So I pick a good song and I dance to it, music has always been my mood lifter and all it takes the the right song to put you in a great mood and boost your confidence. I'm also being a lot more outgoing in the real world and online (I used to never, ever leave comments on KZbin, lol). Meeting new people in new places has been doing wonders for my confidence,it just pushed me out of my little introverted bubble. It's a process and I like to keep track of all the good things that's happened so I don't lose sight of what's important, which is being happy!! So thank you Amanda, for being such an inspiration!!! :-D Oh, and I literally died laughing at Matt as he attempted to sneak by lol!

Thank you Amanda! I also have sensitive skin and breakout every now and then. It was a lot worse when I was younger that I now have scars. I never wear makeup except for lip liner, eye liner and mascara because I fear it will clog my pores and cause more breakouts. Plus shopping around for make up can be pretty pricey. I'll keep the products you use in mind and give them a try.

I've gotten used to it, but I still struggle with worrying about my appearance. I just got this tone corrector by Aveeno that seems to be working though! :) I really admire your decision to do this video! I loved it! And I just bought the e.l.f liquid eyeliner and Im so excited, I've always used pencil, I can't wait!
