I am finally trying to take the first step into the world of e-readers and e-notebooks. I tried to do some preliminary research on my own, but then stumbled on your channel. Can I simply say, your videos have been wonderfully informative and have most likely saved me from making quick decisions on which product to get, as I have probably watched most of your reviews by now in trying to get the best available information on what to choose. I highly appreciate your balance on pros/cons on each device. For a beginner in the world of eStationery, everything can be a bit confusing, starting with as simple thing as what size of a device to go for (call me silly, but I genuinely didn't even realise that color was not that big of a thing either!). Thank you so much for all your work! Will definitely consider getting this My Daily Organiser once I get my product. (I am strongly leaning towards getting Boox Nova 3 now.)

So I looked into your suggestion and found it too small for me, but will still consider it except there is a huge problem that has to be considered. With Android 10 the clipboard does not work and that makes the ability to copy and paste even your own words from one place to another impossible, so I say may God damn Android for thinking that people want to plagiarize things as then what happens to people who just want to move around their own thoughts, which has nothing at all to do with plagiarism??? They get left out in the cold. . On Dec 1st, I had bought a Galaxy Tab S7+ and have then not used it for note taking as that problem is there. So my hatred for Samsung is very high. If I buy a cell phone it will not be a Samsung I get, even though it is a problem of Android. . Also, what is the problem now that Android 11 is already here? Is it possible to install Android 9? After all the point is to be able to move around one's own notes and not have to rewrite them. I know it is possible to move around within a certain program, but what if one wants to use it to enter notes in one note taking program and yet copy it over to another program, which would require the use of a copy and paste function with a clipboard to move between programs, yet this does not involve using other people words, but one's own words. So far I am still using real paper pads.

I haven't purchased your incredible creation yet (I plan on buying your MDO '21 and '22), having just learned about them today, however, I can immediately see that I can eliminate the separate Diary, Journal, and Notebook from my Remarkable. I couldn't quite figure out how to integrate those in my mind to make them useful in combination and not confusing, plus each one was left wanting in one way or another. My brain does not organize or plan like yours does and having three separate documents meant they were just laying about not being used. I'm hoping that in using your product I will be able to finally organize my brain to become more efficient and less frustrated. You have made my heart and brain happy. I also sincerely appreciate your assistance in helping us to understand how to make optimum use of MDO. Those, like me, who don't plan or organize effectively (I'm blaming it on age ;) can use any assistance you can provide. Thank you SO very much!!!

@@StphRolland it ist also a PDF in the end. Bur i'm using it in a boox Note 2. In the end, if you don't want to costumize it and if you don't want to have some fun with making it in your own, i would recommend using the mdo, because it takes quite a lot of time to make it. And in the end - volja's Version is very nice, pretty functional etc.. I did my Version mostly for exercise reasons ;).

LOVE LOVE LOVE YOUR ORGANIZER!! The combination of Boox Note Air and your organizer is revolutionizing my life! Love everything about it. It would be even more perfect if you made one version with a Monday start calendar and a separate version with a Sunday start for the week. I get you can change the annual calendar between Monday and Sunday start, but the monthly calendars are only Monday start. All that said, I can totally just adapt. Please keep making these! I would gladly pay at least 2x the price you charge!

On my ReMarkable 2 for the notes and to do sections, I zoom in, write what I want to call it under the number, and when I zoom back out, it is quite easy to read my title.

Wow, either I have never noticed this limitation, or it's something new, but you are right. It looks like you can only copy paste lasso selected copy buffer within the same document. That is a very strange limitation to see. Thank you for being my attention to it.

One suggestion from me is to insert another link section on the single day page of a month to directly and quickly switch between the other days of the same month, without returning back on the month view page first. Great job with the organizer. Even though I don't have any of the three devices, I bought it nonetheless. First to support the great work you are doing on these e-ink devices ( I am contemplating on getting one. Could not decide yet. ), secondly it is just a PDF document I figured it would work on any tablet with a pen... And as expected, it works just fine on my S6 lite with xodo pdf.

Hello, in this version no, since it is a PDF file and not an app, and it already was at over 1700 pages long. I had to choose which will be the default yearly calendar and main standard, and since international standard is Monday start, the organizer reflects that, with an option to have the yearly calendar with a Sunday start view. However, version for 2022 will have many improvements and new features, one of which will be a dedicated Monday or Sunday start entire Organizer version, meaning all pages will reflect the standard selected. I hope that clarifies it :)

One thing I want to add here is that if you are part of the Beta program of Remarkable 2, You will get new features that are not included in the stable software version. In the current Beta version, you can easily navigate through PDF pages from the main menu ( They removed one additional step ), and also they have improved the highlighter and a bunch of things.

That depends on the platform you use and settings you make. You haven't specified which device you were thinking of, but since this is a PDF document, absolutely identical rules apply as they would for any other document saving on any of the platforms. Hopefully that helps :)

Hi Voja, how do you backup mdo on Boox Note 3 ? As it's a PDF in Neoreader, when I sync with autosync, I have the pdf in my cloud but without any annotations in it. Am I missing something ?

Hello, It depends on how your library is organized and if it is in Bookshelf or Directory mode. Boox platform is really weird how it treats documents by trying to be too smart. I find that whole system very confusing and annoying, so I opt out to for the simplest solution, which is, I just save and export it when done after a session. I've setup my auto sync to sync up with the export folders, so it then works automatically.

Can we search for keywords within the MDO platform using the Boox devices?

MDO is a document, and just like any 9ther document, it will have limitations that a platform has for document handling. In the case of Boox, it doesn't support handwritten content search within a document, so no, you can't do that, but you can use all of the other document related functionalities, such as bookmarking and typed text word search, so you can search the document, like you would any other document or a book, for typed words or phrases, not written ones.

You are right, it is aggressive. The reason behind that decision is, because none of the platforms offer a functional way to copy existing written content onto the updated version. So even if I issued an updated version of 2021, it would mean that existing users can't copy their existing content onto the new version effectively, because the only way to copy it, due to platforms limitations, is manually, one page at a time, which is a ridiculous notion to even consider as valid. So I decided to gather all of the feedback, identify priorities and then issue an improved version of the product for 2022. Whether you choose to wait or not, to be quite honest is inconsequential for me, because if you deem the product worthy of waiting, you will wait. If you don't, you'll move onto another product and both of those options are fine with me. I have no intention or interest in convincing anyone that MDO is the product for them. Not at all. I am interested in making a good product, presenting it clearly to the public and letting people make their own choice according to their own individual needs and preferences.
