I’m a stay at home mom, just got out of the military and I’m just not used to this, I feel like I go crazy in my house all day. Although I love having this time with my daughter, I just feel like I never get a break when my husband is away. He’s getting deployed soon and I’m so stressed out on what to do bc I don’t want to lose my mind!!!! I feel like I need a job but haven’t had any luck landing a federal job... I miss working for the military but it wasn’t the best option for me and my family having us both in, it’s not what I wanted for my daughter. Hopefully something good comes my way soon.

Hayley - thank you SO much for this video. It’s EXACTLY what I needed to hear tonight. Had just put my son to bed and put my headphones on to listen/watch your vid while I got stuck into a mountain of dishes. Pumped up the music and it helped lift my mood just by connecting with another mama. My usually pretty chill baby (just turned 1 - same date as Sydney’s bday) has been SO out of sorts the last two days and nights - I don’t know the cause - but I’m totally exhausted. Just needed this! Btw I think your makeup looks really lovely with a light lip colour as well - so just do whatever you like to do! You’re amazing!

You’re so good with teaching her!!! I’m a teacher so I know what I’m talking about 😉 Btw, their little brain is a sponge! And they learn so so fast! But neurologically their brain isn’t ready to learn letters and numbers (I mean the symbols)...they’re easily learn them but it takes away resources from their brain as they should be learning more things that include sensory and movements (gross and fine motor skills). It’s better to learn symbols after 2,5 yo.... But I think a little bit of everything is best! I see you are not pushing her and not overload her!! And I think you are doing great!! I’m writing this mainly for other mommies who might push too hard (“because neighbor’s kid is reading at 3yo”) or for those who worried that their child can’t remember number at 2,5 .... it’s okay!!)))) Loved this video! I respect that you choose to keep your family/friends mostly separate from your channel; howeverrr, if you have any thoughts about, or if you would ever want to make a video about making it work on your own, that would be so great to see. I am not a single mother, so I am sure you have it tougher(!), but I have no family nearby who helps me with my baby, so that can be hard. No pressure, and only if you're comfortable, but it would be so interesting to hear more about how you balance doing so much on your own, stay sane, and make it work! B/c you are doing an amazing job as a mom!! Sorry if you've already made one like this; I am a bit new to your channel but always enjoy your videos!

@@TresChicMama Oh wow, that sounds tough. That's amazing that you're doing it all though! I give you even more credit now than before!! :) How impressive that you're doing everything yourself. (I had assumed you chose to keep extended family out of vlogs b/c of privacy) I imagine it's tricky to do everything on your own - to balance life, work, errands, chores, motherhood, etc. My husband and I also live in New England and we love it, although we don't live near family (i.e.: parents, siblings, etc) who are helpful or at least involved; I am a WAHM and find that not having family around can be hard. I also get kinda sad thinking about how uninvolved my family is and how much of our daughters' life they are missing out on. It does make us consider relocating to be closer to his family sometimes, even though we really love where we live. Anyways - absolutely no pressure b/c i imagine it's very personal! But hearing more about how you manage day to day life as a single mom without any help nearby, and how you stay calm/happy doing it, could be so inspirational. I give you so many kudos! (BTW, Sorry for my rambling!)

I totally understand about the mom guilt, I kinda still have it after having 3 kids... Sometimes I do feel embarrassed when I'm shopping any kind of shopping my 15 month old baby does get fussy after a while and sometime he doesn't want snacks, he wants to get out a walk around everywhere and having a 15 month old walking around the store and try to shop is hard so he crying so loud and everyone is looking at me. For a moment I do feel embarrassed but I do tell myself he is good, I'm right here nothing is happening to him.. So I do let my baby cry and he will end up stopping... I know some mom hates that I do too. But I let him cry. If he doesn't stop after a while I do take him out and carry him... but love this video, I know for me I put myself last. I really don't do anything for myself. I don't get ready or put on some makeup. If I'm going to stay home all day I just stay in my pjs. Lol I know it's bad...

Kayce Michelle if you watch the video.. she says she is about to head out for work.. she does have a job. She is a single mom that stays at home yes but also has to work. If you need money, go after your babies dad for child support, do not feel bad for him, feel bad for your child.., or apply for help for single mothers. It still won’t be enough to survive on as a single mother though. I’m sorry, life is very tough, and even more hard with children. There is a little bit of help out there. I don’t have my parents anymore, so I had to make a decision to stay put even when not happy for my children. I hope you find your way, I’m 13 years in. I use to sell on eBay, it was decent money, kid clothes always sell left and right.
