Since you own both the Classic 350 and the Himalayan 450, which one would you say is better or more comfortable for Pune’s potholed roads? It’s clear that the Himalayan would likely offer more comfort, but could you elaborate on how the two differ? Specifically, I’m curious about the compression and rebound feel. How do the Showa suspensions on the Himalayan compare to the homegrown suspensions on the Classic? What are the comfort levels like on both bad and good roads? And how do they perform in terms of braking? Are the suspensions on the new Himalayan soft or hard off the shelf? I’d love to hear how an everyday rider in Pune experiences these bikes!

Thanks a lot for the question. If we compare both: Himalayan 450🥰: The Showa suspension (USD forks) handles potholes and rough roads way better. It feels much softer and just soaks up bumps, making it super comfortable on bad roads. Braking: Much more powerful and confidence-inspiring with those bigger discs and dual-channel ABS. Classic 350🙃: The suspension is definitely stiffer, which works great on smoother roads, but it can feel pretty harsh on the rougher city streets. It’s comfortable on good roads but doesn’t handle Pune’s potholes as the Himalayan 450. Brakes are decent, but not as sharp as the Himalayan 450. In a nutshell: For Pune’s bumpy roads, the Himalayan 450🤩 is the better choice for sure-way more comfortable and forgiving. The Classic 350 is nice on smoother rides,🙃 but definitely a rougher experience when the roads get bad. Hope you find this useful ☺. Have Happy & Safe Riding.🏍
