Congrats on Top 4, Ian! Love Chthonian Nightmare, it has so many use cases. Just some lines many people do not immediately see: Birgi (as a loop piece): Dockside loops will now generate infinite mana at a dockside count of 4 (recasting Nightmare will generate one R -> this needs one additional starting mana though). Birgi (on the battlefield): Dockside will now go neutral on a count of 2 and generate infinite mana on a count of 3 (Birgi sees each cast of nightmare) Impulsive Pilferer: Reduces needed Dockside count for infinite mana to 4. Stitcher's Supplier: With a Dockside Count of 4, you can still go through your whole library, as you don't need the treasure generation. Just reanimate Thoracle with it. If you feel very cheeky, you can even essentially mill 6 for one mana while on a dockside count of 3. As soon as you can get Birgi in your graveyard, you can then get her on the field, continue looping and get Thassa's Oracle. Phyrexian Metamorph: Due to Dockside only costing 2, you can loop it with a 4 mana creature if DS starts in the graveyard. Thus, with Metamorph, you can loop any opponen'ts/own creature ETB as well. .. not in this list, but Spellseeker and Imperial Recruiter also LOVE Chthonian Nighmare. :)

doesnt Necrodominance hinder Underworld Breach wins since it says "If a card or token would be put into your graveyard from anywhere, exile it instead."?
@awesomezakaКүн бұрын
You just have to bounce your necrodominance before breaching

It absolutely does :) It is something you really have to work around but a bounce spell is usually enough

I'm really interested in the decision of not adding in Demonic Consultation to the deck. Is going through Dargo loops enough? Did you miss consultation? Also, you mention Displacement Wave as a pet card, what is x usually cast for?
@ComedIanMTG20 сағат бұрын
@@MrSonictheOtter didn't miss consult at all tbh. I almost always find it to be the most volatile card in my lists. For wave I often find that if you resolve an x=2 in a breach deck you can win that turn

Enjoy these mindset videos/ deck tech and how you actually play the deck. One thing I'd recommend for entertainment quality and for delivery is that you could add in some more back end editing and production improvements. Such as, when you are talking about the combos and certain card names you could pop them up onto the screen. Add in some animations and simple little things that grab your viewers attention. Because right now you are solely banking on that people have a good enough imagination to picture the things you are saying. People get bored if something isn't grabbing them, and even with how exciting your story may be, some times that's not enough. Specially with a 48 minute video, it should have something keeping people around throughout the whole video. I imagine you put these together yourself and your editing knowledge may not be as good as your magic skills. But youtube has great videos for everything! If you are using Premiere Pro from Adobe, they basically have added in so many resources that it can almost edit for you. Just takes a little investment is all.
@ComedIanMTG17 сағат бұрын
That is usually something my editor adds, but I think with me returning from vacation and having a quick turn-around they were left out
