Im in my 80s. A little advice to you younger sewing ladies. ALWAYS charge or barter your sewing skills. If not, before you know it, people will be flooding you with free sewing. Sewing is a skill, and an art. Dont give it away for free.

I think showing the final product right at the beginning would be a great idea. A lot of times when I’m watching a sewing video I’ll set the video speed at 1.25 so that it’s just a little bit faster but enough to keep me engaged.

Why? So you can click out of it if you don’t want to watch it. Have patience see the process then be rewarded with what has been accomplished. Take that little extra time to relax, get a cuppa and a break from the fast pace of life. Enjoy your 5-10 minutes of a slower pace it will do you good. 😊❤

Not sure about the comments about showing us the finished project first! I stayed watching because I thought it was a pillow, then you proceeded to a cut that wiped that idea out and then I wondered what are you making. I did eventually determine it was a tote of some kind. I probably would not have watched it for a tote. However, I appreciate the step by step process I would be interested in making a leather purse.

You need to provide better visuals and more info as you go. When you cut off edges without measuring, it's unclear exactly how much you're cutting off. Is that from a seam allowance? Just a few suggestions to make your videos clearer. Cool project. 😊

Finished product was nice but bag needs more stabilizer it was so flimsy and won’t be a good carrying any weight. I know I have bought these bags kinds and they don’t hold up. When I make mine I use pellon and their many different types.
