I only got diagnosed with ADHD this year at the age of 30 and everything finally makes so much sense. I love to see that girls these days don’t have to go through the same struggles and constant self doubt, because no one understands ADHD and other neurodivergent conditions in girls. I always tried to fit in and suppress my quirky personality trades, which was the stupidest way to get through my teens and early adulthood. Stay as bright and bubbly as you are, Emilia 💖

NEVER EVER let other people steal your joy. Advice for starting year 7: 1. Be yourself. 2. Be kind & inclusive of others. 3. Share your passions, interests, and sense of humour. 4. Be interested in other people. 5. Enjoy yourself! Relax! It's just year 7. The more you enjoy yourself, the more joy you'll spread. 6. Don't stand by and let your friends bully somebody else. Standing by and watching is just as bad as being the bully. Sometimes, your friends might just need a quiet, gentle reminder to be nicer to others. im going into 8th grade (year 8) my advice, be yourself, find some friends, be prepared for fake friends/ghosting/losing friends, it will be hard (if it doesnt happen your the ✨chosen one✨). definetly there will be lots of drama, i think everyone regrets 7th grade lol but its ok its only like 6 months (idk and im too lazy to look it up). youll probrably have a massive glow up, during 7th grade or before 8th grade.. so yeah, good luck and have fun ❤ (also my name irl starts with a too lol)

Good job picking all the necessities for both the stationary bits and then some jeans and earrings. Nice of Emilia to bring Edie a few treats as well. And I’ve always thought Emilia was gifted in some way and her singing and creative brain is that. She’s smart and somehow was told she’s not and she def can sing. I think this school ks going to be really good for all of the kids attending. Seems to fit the family and all of the kids’ individual needs well. I hope Emilia will be brave enough to share her singing someday but it’s her own gift to share when she feels like it. Happy shopping for all four kids back to school needs. Sounds like a big job for two tweens and two littles.

I’m going into year 8 and one tip (for year 7) is don’t make friends with EVERYONE just have a couple of close friends but also get to know your form and the people in ur classes/sets but in my Skl we only have sets in maths for year 7 but good luck hope year 7 goes well for u Emilia 💗

American here! I went to Catholic school for the first 6 years of schooling. When I went to middle school (Jr. High here in the US), there was no longer a uniform to wear and I, like Emilia, missed the uniform! It felt like a lot of pressure to always find a new & cute outfit to wear. But after a bit, I realized how cool it was to get to show my individual style. I'm sure in no time at all, that will be the same for Emilia! I can't believe how grown up she is. 🥰

I have some tips for starting yr 7!! 1.be really kind to everyone 2.be confident 3.try to make new friends 4.if your going to wear makeup only wear mascara and lipgloss! 5.try to impress teachers with the first homework they set do it to the best of your ability’s I hope you enjoy year 7 as much as I did it is so fun and enjoy it before you get loads of homework have a great time love you and your family I hope this helped byee!!💓💓

By the way, most schools require you to have a scientific calculator so you may want to check the list again just to be sure Emilia has the equipment on the list (a regular calculator could be ok, but I suggest double checking if she doesn’t need a scientific calculator for year 7) Have a great time in secondary school! ❤️
