Does the Premier Gold card have different variations? I've seen PSA labels that say "Gold", "Premier Gold" or nothing at all at the bottom

Not that I'm aware of, I think it's just PSA labelling them. Same card, same set, same year.

Hello mate, the 1996 merlin going so high right now, do you think the 1998 one is a good alternative to own it?

Yeah it’ll have value, obviously it won’t have as much value as the 96 but still a cool card to own/invest in and an early Beckham!

What are your views on the 1995 Raven Manchester United 1 of 500 card? I would like to if that is considered a rookie or pre-rookie card? I have a feeling that this card could be his most desired card because of the exclusivity?

It was actually made in 2001 PSA labelled it wrong, so it’s technically not a rookie card, I personally think there are better cards out there

Yeah you’d be very very unlucky to not find at least a base card of beckham. One box only guarantees 2 three lions cards, so your not guaranteed a three lions Beckham, that’s pretty hard to pull

Isn't Beckham's first card his LCD one not the Premier Gold?

The LCD is from 1995 but I think because people are more familiar with Merlin as a manufacturer of cards the Premier Gold does extremely well and some regard it as a rookie, there are even earlier stickers than the premier gold and cards including the merlin, the sky sports, subutteo and more!

I eventually will do but most of my investments including this is one aren’t short term as I’ll be sending the cards off for grading which is a long process and then holding till I’m ready to sell 😁

To get an idea, I paid around £8 for some of the Beckham 96 stickers, last one sold for £85, in a PSA graded 8 the card sold in September for £246.91
