Just depends on if I'm working for a band that is scheduled to do Sonic Temple. Since Breaking Benjamin did it this year, they likely won't be there next year. I'll be at Louder Than Life and Aftershock in the next few months though!

@@TakeMeOnTour Looking back at the 2021 map it looks like they had it separated as it was this year, i'm guessing they tried it for the 2022 fest but realized there wasn't enough room as mentioned. Who knows. I went in 2022 and This year and honestly as much as walking from stage to stage sucked it was nice either way

How does one qualified to become a Merc manager or at least a roadie(if that’s consider a word) for the band? Also, how is the pay if you do get paid

Many different ways to get into it. I do plan on doing a video on how I got into it and explaining a few different ways it's possible. It definitely takes some risk and a real drive to be able to do it. The pay range can be from a few hundred dollars a week to a few thousand a week. It varies so much because there are so many different levels of touring.

I will probably do a video about this in the future but for me, I started working for a band that I grew up with that I was friends with. That was my foot in the door and from there, I just started meeting as many people as I could and making contacts and offering my services until the point that it was consistent. I will say that it took years before I started getting decent gigs. It's a sacrifice but it was worth it.

I started 9 years ago working for an opening band and grew it from there. All you need is a foot in the door. The difference in my job from 9 years ago until now is substantial.
