It wouldn’t be fair. They’re nocturnal by nature. If Debs lived on a few acres, she could set up a situation for them to thrive, but they tend to like to travel farther than a few acres, and the ecosystem needs them for rodent control. They wouldn’t be happy in the house, and Kenny wouldn’t be happy, either. Plus, they don’t really take to house training.

Simon will never forget you. You two will pop in and out of each other's lives. This is the first of those visits. Just bc you are human and he is fox does not mean a thing. Now Magoo. I have brain things and so does he. Little ones. We may be different, but that is only how we connect outside of us. which means we are overjoyed to see the boys, but not really projecting that. I had to let my two juvenile squirrel babies be apart from me at the wildlife center for about a month, then they called me back to be there at her release, and I took her to her new home with her in the box and she was scared because she was rewilded again, but when we let her go I called her and she totally remembered me and she got all playful. That literally broke my heart but I know that she is better off in the wild so she has a full life, but she totally did remember me I was crying so hard because I missed that little squirrel to this day!!❤❤❤

It's illegal to hunt fox in the UK. They do have the right to shoot if the fox is disturbing livestock or something... but a fox in the chicken coop is nothing compared to an ERMINE. Little demons. Cute... but demons. lol So technically they are protected. Edit: Also I had an ermine issue once. 4 chickens dead in one night, 3 more the following night. Including giant roosters. Fox takes one and runs. My chickens are my pets. I rescue animals so I have farm guys. :( I would have rather had the fox get in. 😢

Don't think for a second that they forgot you. Scent memory can last a lifetime. I think their fear is that you'll take them out and put them back in their sleeping cage, while theyre much happier in their proper environment. Lol watching the Cubs feed. The same food always looks better in someone else's bowl.

I thought that would serve 2 purposes. 1, an extra angle to use to try to boost the fundraiser which seems to be hardly moving right now. I stupidly thought as I've described in my comments about it. 2, I genuinely thought it would be a small but nice little legacy for yourself for all the work you do looking after all the Foxes you do now and have done previously.
