The mixed English and Tagalog is called "Taglish" and it's mostly used in Manilla and surrounding area. As you travel to other islands you'll notice far less English in everyday conversation, especially in the countryside. However, English is the official second language of the Phillipines.

From a personal standpoint, My Day The Series stands out above the rest. The behind-the-camera production staffs really stepped up their game. The effort is unquestionably crystal clear, from cinematography, sound effects, video editing like literally no dull moments, to acting and storyline, not to mention the chemistry between the two lead characters, Ace and Sky. I love how they were able to come up with believably convincing different locations like school, office, house, and so forth out of one location. GENIUS! Watching the first episode, I felt this typical Thai BL vibe, and I won't be surprised if my fiance and I get hooked on this series in the same way as we both are on Hello Stranger. ❤ ❤ ❤

I have watched Thai BL since 2016 & still do mainly from GMMTV & Linetv & still do but this is my first BL that originates from the Philippines & I have to be honest when I was in high school (graduated last year) I had a lot of wonder teachers from the Philippines & I would often hear them speak in their language & often wonder what they were saying so watching this show now & hearing them speak I find it comforting & nostalgic to be honest I miss my wonderful teachers so next year I want to take some flowers as a thank you for how wonderful they were to me & for being such wonderful teachers & people Side Note: it's a bit odd though that it has some words that actually spoken in English within the language that I can actually understand like the word "Requirements"

UK fan here 🇬🇧 I think the cinematography is stunning. As an avid watcher of Asian Dramas (TH, JP, KR, CH, PH+~) I always have great respect for Dramas that have had care & thought put into them ✌🏻 BL dramas are gaining traction and I think it’s important to always praise and respect directors and staff who are willing to take on a BL drama, as there is still a negative stigma about them despite their growing popularity. The more we normalise and support these dramas, creating a demand for them, hopefully the more entertainment industries will be willing to ‘take a risk’. Not just BL dramas, but GL dramas too 💕

I just wanna appreciate the whole team for their efforts in this Series. This is so promising! The opening monologue of Sky is so touching "dahil sa pag-ibig lahat tayo pantay-pantay." that is so true! Kudos to the cinematographer! The cinematography is so good! Initial feedback based from the 1st 11mins: Good: 1. Nice cinematography 2. The production design is also good 3. I like the fast pacing of the story 4. Some actors already stood out with their acting 5. The background music is lit. It's like watching a fairy tale or magical-themed movie Delta: 1. the voice over sounds like a dub and you can't feel the emotion of their dialogues 2. Delivery of lines is too fast because they talk so fast 3. Some of the scenes where actors doesn't act naturally 4. How they move or act seems like I am watching a school production. Most prolly as most of them are newbies
