I recently found your channel. I've been known to indulge in a good book. In the past, I was always reading non-fiction. Until I found your channel . I read the gunslinger, and I'm on the Dark Tower series. And following your order, you laided out . Anyway, I look forward to your reviews. I'm reading Lonesome Dove and can't put it down. Hope the channel grows. Thank you for the content.

YES!! Red Country! You're one book away from The Age of Madness trilogy! I finished Wisdom of Crowds two weeks ago and I miss the characters and the world so much. I can't wait for you to read those and see your reactions. By far his best work to date, hands down.

Shuggie Bain really is an accurate reflection of Glasgow during that time. It is also the most accurate depiction of alcoholism and how destructive it can be that I have ever read. Probably the only book I have ever read that truly pierced something in me.

Wow that's a big endorsement for Shuggie Bain. I really want to read it soon.

The Hunting Party is on my TBR as well. I've read one other book by Lucy Foley (I can't remember the name though) but I remember enjoying it. If you enjoy this one, I'd recommend Daisy Darker by Alice Feeney. They sound like similar story ideas.

A book I highly recommend for all my horror fans here in the comments for December is Let The Right One In by John Ajvide Lindqvist. It is a great book set around christmas. I won't spoil the story too much, but if you like Stephen Kings first two novels, and just like the setting of winter Sweden, you're probably gonna love it!
