You might want to include “unintentional ASMR” in your titles. it’s a small community but growing., essentially it’s old school ASMR. ASMR today is different, those of us who have it know. It’s forced and fake , can’t get tingles from something that’s not natural / genuine. You have that natural ASMR presence , I could really hear you talk about anything.

@user-kg5lq6nd7q So true! I dislike the last several years' worth of videos from many of my favourite asmr creators, so keep returning to their older, more authentic and amateur videos. The new forced style just doesn't work. ☹️

I noticed this too, it's frustrating! Some people get the wrong impression of ASMR because they think it's all tapping/mouth sounds/hand movements in your face, but that type of stuff stresses me out too. The most intense ASMR I've gotten was from people in real life who I was just observing doing something thoughtfully, they didn't even have to be talking. It's the energy someone gives off more than anything, some people just exude it naturally like yanghaiying.

I am thankful to have found your channel. I think I was maybe 12 back then and now I'm 25. You share so much information and wisdom while also being relaxing. But it's very natural and I think that makes it more comforting. The singing in the end reminds me of visiting grandma's house and being sung a song till you fall asleep. It is a warm energy from your channel ❤❤ If you make a new channel I will follow there too. But there's nothing wrong with how the channel is now.

IMO, most ASMR channels fail when the ASMR is forced (like, how many ways can you tap on a bottle with your fingernails?). The GOOD ASMR channels are the ones that just come naturally. It is the Mutant X-Power that Mister Rogers and Bob Ross had.

I've been a subscriber to your channel for many years now. I first found you doing tea videos, and I fell in love with your voice and mannerisms, the delicate way you did things, the tiny clinking of the spoon box, and how you would describe your day to day life, or just talk about anything at all. It warmed me and made me feel safe. I would continue to come back to these videos, and welcome new ones with delight, to have a grandmotherly presence in my life when I didn't have one. Just being yourself is natural ASMR. You brought us all here with your videos, just you being yourself. Whereever you go, I'll follow you!

I'm so thankful for you ❤ I watched your channel to keep me company while caring for my newborn micro preemie triplets. I listened to your orchid painting video on the way home from one of their funerals. Your spirit soothed my traumatized and broken spirit for many many years as I struggled through single mommyhood. On more than one occasion my children suggested that I "go listen to the tea lady" as you'd become known in my house, when it was clear even to them that I was at the end of irope. My twins will be 18 next week and they've heard your voice in our home for almost their entire lives. You are very much appreciated ❤

Dear Yanghaiying. As a long term fan of yours that not only watches your videos for the unintentional asmr but also out of interest for your philosophical takes on life and crafty videos, I'd say keep the channel as it is, your community is growing day by day and we will watch whatever you post regardless of if it's asmr "worthy" or not. I also find the idea to write "unintentional asmr" into video titles should suffice 🤗♥️ with dear regards, Sophie from Germany

Your voice and the gist of your channel is totally ASMR to me. :) Your followers here naturally include ASMR lovers, but people stay for the way you naturally share with us all aspects of life. I love the fact that first we might come for ASMR and then we stay because of you! Introverts love that place of yours (first I stayed because of your "Do do do, do do do"... greeting) :) Thanks for the lovely lullaby at the end. 💛

Your voice and demeanor are inherently calming, so everything you already make can be asmr to the friend listening. It's the best unintentional asmr and also engaging ❤ that is my favorite kind. I would love it if you kept everything in one spot so i dont miss anything you post🥰 the use of a playlist is very intuitive! Maybe also use "unintentional asmr" as a tag as well for your channel/videos or just "asmr" tag for story videos etc🥰 forced asmr has become a bit generic and overly focused on tapping. I love your videos the way they are❤

The sheer panic of potential change 😅 When we have a sense of contemplating a change to the things we do, it's maybe because we feel bored of the current routines and/or feel the change will provide a benefit in some way. Ultimately, it is your time and energy going into making the videos and you have to enjoy it otherwise it will become a chore and tedious. You obviously have a mind that enjoy stimulation which is reflected in your content. That attracts the audience you have. So I think, really, do what makes you happy. You can always try a new channel and see how it goes, who it attracts, see how it makes you feel. If it's not working for you, then you can delete it again, right?

For making a long Greek Mythology video: I think newly created channels have some restrictions on the length of videos they can upload, but your channel shouldn't have any restrictions. I have seen other channels make videos that are 40 hours long! So don't worry about reaching a time limit on KZbin. If you want to make a video longer than two hours, it's more important to check how much video your computer can process at once - the technical term for this is called "rendering".

I discovered you around 2010, when ASMR was non a tag. And, as I said in another comment in one of your videos, I improved my listening in English because of you. I can say you, by correlated, were the link to ASMR videos, without using this tag. So, yes, you are NATURALLY an ASMR artist. But I always loved that you didn't fall in the ASMR hole. From 2010 I saw day by day the fall of ASMR from a tag for people who want to find a little calm to the parody of soft pxrnxgrxphx. And I have to say this not for the content creators (even if there are many that are practically that), but for the community and their weird behaviour and requests, on top of that the pervasive and unnecessary whispering and the close up face view. I think these weird requests are simptom of an epidemic loneliness which ASMR can't be the cure. Unintentional ASMR is always the best. And in fact I continued listening to your videos for 15 years.

there are so many different types of ASMR channels. I think i like ASMR, but not if people just brush microphones or chew on food. that does not work for me. And if a youtuber tries to "sell" their ASRM content by female attributes (like showing as much skin as legal on YT): At least not **my** game! For me it's more like the situation beeing a child daycare of grandpa or grandma, just reading a book while a person working in a kitchen, driving a car or doing a craft (working with textile, woodworking etc.)
