MY DIAGNOSIS OF EXTREMELY RARE CANCER - LIFE HAS CHANGED - THE FUTURE OF SOUTHERN INDIANA SAWMILL

The title says it all I suppose. I have been diagnosed with an extremely rare form of cancer known as stage 4, metastatic, adrenocortical carcinoma. Please watch the video for more information. Your prayers are needed and appreciated as our family deals with this new illness.

Brother, your strength is admirable, I’m a leukemia survivor, was told it was a very rare type that existed, and told I had 6 months or less and less than 1% chance of survival, every thing you described happening to you was exactly as I described my symptoms, had no idea that I was sick, But God used me to help others with leukemia, and cancer, blessings upon blessing given to me and I did everything I could to pass every single one on to others, God is good as you know, as hard as it is to say what I did was to embrace my situation with Gods help and talked to others openly about my situation and theirs holding nothing back and most importantly I with my Lords help was not going to stop living my life as if I was great health. I am praying for you and your family. I was told I would die 20 years ago. My daughter was 8. She is 28 now. I gave it to GOD. There is always hope. Don’t give up. One important thing to do is go into your backyard. Get very quiet, and have a conversation with GOD. Pour out your heart, tell him you want to get your children to adulthood. I did. There are always struggles but GOD is still on his throne. Don’t give up.

I've been watching your videos for a long time but don't think I've ever commented. I felt compelled to on this one. First of all, I will be putting you and your family on my regular prayer list. I'm thankful that God has given you the grace to bring such a sweet gospel testimony. I trust He some how use even this for His glory. I was diagnosed with an aggressive cancer just over 3 years ago. But my cancer had a 70 percent cure rate after 6 chemotherapy treatments I was told I was one of the 30 percenters and my care was transferred to the university of Michigan. They were great. After a couple CT guide biopsies and 4 more PET scans they finally determined I was in remission. I still deal with minor side effects from the chemo, but my health is mostly back to normal. One thing I found encouraging was to hear about churches and people I didn't even know about that were praying for me and my family. Prayers Ron

Sorry to hear about your diagnosis. The was the toughest part, for me was telling my children. I will tell you that you were in good hands with the hospital in New Albany, Their Oncology facility in Louisville is top notch and took great care of me. I was very lucky because I got my diag right at the onset of the pandemic. Hopefully you will be one of the blessed ones and we will be seeing you for years to come.

I'm sorry you are going through this. I will ask God to heal you and give you strength in the name of Jesus. Never forget that God loves you and even in times of trouble when He seems far away, He is with you. Footprints in the Sand: One night I dreamed a dream. As I was walking along the beach with my Lord. Across the dark sky flashed scenes from my life. For each scene, I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand, One belonging to me and one to my Lord. After the last scene of my life flashed before me, I looked back at the footprints in the sand. I noticed that at many times along the path of my life, especially at the very lowest and saddest times, there was only one set of footprints. This really troubled me, so I asked the Lord about it. "Lord, you said once I decided to follow you, You'd walk with me all the way. But I noticed that during the saddest and most troublesome times of my life, there was only one set of footprints. I don't understand why, when I needed You the most, You would leave me." He whispered, "My precious child, I love you and will never leave you Never, ever, during your trials and testings. When you saw only one set of footprints, It was then that I carried you."

At this point, we are doing OK. I do want to work as much in my shop as possible and still try to provide for the family through those means. I find it difficult to believe in a god, but I hope that there IS a god and that he really cures you, so that you can watch your children become parents themselves. I was diagnosed with stage 4 mucinous adenocarcinoma of lung, in February 2024. But I am not going to pretend that I am in the same situation as you are, because I am getting some treatment specific for my cancer. I hate to hear that you have such a rare cancer and that there is not enough research about your condition. You are an incredibly strong man, and I hope your people are just as strong as you are! I hope your cancer undergoes spontaneous regression. All the best! I think you should of going back to intermittent fasting.

His sacrifice to ministry is admirable. Obviously he believes sacrificing the farm is necessary. That is a lot to consider on his part. We had to do a very similar thing when I went to school.
