Amanda & Lanna of LA funny review seem to have enjoyed other funny songs more than this one, as they didn't laugh as much at this as they do other songs on their channel. The lyrics are a guy singing about playing with his male specific anatomy, every little boy that hears this song, knows that the song refers to male specific anatomic parts & is not about some bells or a toy, even if they don't speak English. If the song actually refers to something other than male specific anatomy, no one would find it amusing. Wonder why a song about the male ding a ling is so popular & replayed over & over, but much funnier songs about the female pussy cat went virtually unheard of. It’s actually a double entendre in the definition of “ding-a-ling”. He’s claiming it was a musical toy that his grandmother bought him and nicknamed it his “ding-a-ling”. If it had solely been a reference to the male anatomy, it would never have made it past censors and onto the airwaves ca. 1972.

@@a.grimes4202 Research the song history, & read some of the Chuck Berry interviews where he addresses questions about the song & news reports. Also, back then females, most notably grandmas very often referred to male genitals as ding-a-ling. kzbin.info/www/bejne/hZjcd2WDq5hpZrM Chuck Berry was a notorious pervert, & whether or not the song's initial lyrics describe some non-existent "toy," instead of admitting the "toy" refers to male genitals.

Since I don’t see it mentioned here, I *have* to point out that as much as it sounds like something an internet troll would make up, this, of all his songs, was the extremely talented Chuck Berry’s one and ONLY #1 hit on the U.S. Billboard _Hot 100_ charts. LOL
